Dear President @officialABAT, whatever rewards are coming to our U-17 World Champions, please add one more: give each of them a scholarship to any university they choose.
At 17 and under, they are still in their formative years. Football can carry them into the future. An academic scholarship lets them walk into that future better armed.
Many people did not wish them or our country well in that final. They went out and won it anyway. We must celebrate them, and we should celebrate them in a way that lasts.
Congratulations Mr President. Looking forward to seeing you lift that trophy, to the joy of every Nigerian that wishes our country well.

What wonderful news to return home to, and what a proud moment for Nigeria!
As First Lady Oluremi @SenRemiTinubu and I returned from engagements in Akwa Ibom and Rivers States this evening, I saw her keenly watching the Flamingos’ World Cup final against Japan. What a joy to see our girls defeat Japan 2–1 and become the first African team to lift the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup trophy.
Our young girls have conquered the world, made history and brought immense honour to Nigeria and the African continent.
I followed your remarkable journey throughout the tournament in Morocco, and I remember your promise after the semi-final victory to bring the trophy home. Today, you have kept that promise with courage, discipline and unwavering belief in yourselves.
Your triumph goes far beyond football. Millions of young Nigerian girls will look at what you have achieved and know that they, too, can dream big, compete with the best and reach the pinnacle of their chosen fields.
I congratulate every member of this exceptional team, the coaching crew, the Nigeria Football Federation, the National Sports Commission and everyone who contributed to this historic achievement.
On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I salute our world champions. You have written a glorious new chapter in our nation’s sporting history.
Nigeria celebrates you. I celebrate you.

Nupe Lawyer, shey Kwara State wants to put body? Maybe we should also be talking about how major investments in Kwara are largely concentrated in Ilorin, with Al-Hikmah University being the mega private individual investment, valued at equal to or less than ₦40 billion.
If not for Abdul Samad Rabiu, President of BUA Group, who left faraway Kano State to establish a sugarcane plantation in Lafiagi, an investment that is currently contributing to your state's IGR, if not, Kwara would have been in an even more difficult economic position worst than Ekiti State. Given its financial kwashiorkored status, and possibly be merged to Niger State.

This is a homecoming for me. I was here in Akwa Ibom as a Mobil auditor. We built Ibeno, developed Eket, and did what we had to do. I never dreamed that I would become president to commission an airport named after my then-colleague governor (Victor Attah).

Peter Obi is a billionaire, and his wife is so rich that she can afford handbags worth millions; So why is Aisha Yesufu soliciting for funds for Peter Obi's campaign? Same Obi who told Nigerians in the UK not to send money to their loved ones at home. The money funded last time, what happened to it? Nigerians should wake up.
