Fall-streak cloud (or hole punch cloud) over Pflugerville this afternoon! These happen when supercooled water droplets in a cloud suddenly freeze due to a disturbance, normally an airplane passing through them, and the resulting ice crystals grow outward and fall down from the cloud creating the “hole punch” and the “fall streak” of ice crystals.
