aware of server issues. we lost a redis instance and are waiting on recovery.
we have a backup ready to go, but are not immediately switching to it as all session data would be lost (meaning every user would have to login again).
this only affects osu-web, lazer, and api v2.
stable, bancho and api v1 are resilient and doing fine.
doing some beatmap mirror maintenance, newly uploaded beatmap may be unavailable momentarily (ranked beatmaps should not be affected).
thanks for your patience, maintenance completed.
there's still a bit of extra work to do before mod/friend/country leaderboards and the public api return, but expect them within a few hours.
yesterday we experienced a critical database failure caused by a bug out of our control. as a result we've been running in a bit of an ad-hoc setup just to keep things online.
starting around 06:00 UTC today (~2 hours from now), i will be taking *all osu! systems* offline for maintenance to restore performance and reliability back to where it should be.
this maintenance will take around 1.5 hours.
currently dealing with a degraded database, things should be coming back online now. if you are waiting for a score to submit, keep the game open.
