🚨 BREAKING: A Broadcom Wi-Fi bug lets anyone in range run code on routers without the password.
Quentin Kaiser showed it on Proximus, Orange Belgium and VOO routers and estimates ~1.5M in Belgium are exposed, none patched.
The bug dates to 2010. Broadcom won't assign a CVE.

I don't think this will work, this is just the old regime hanging on to whatever is left. Cling to the old ways while every summer the rivers run drier.
Unfortunately, we will not stop climate change because rich countries cannot phantom sacrificing their way of life.

It's a marketing stunt you duffuses... a great one
Go touch grass, it's better for you and the planet :)

We are all f-ed dudes. We haven't caught up yet
The only ones who will be remotely able to defend their moat at those with enough money for lawyers
Time to move to a cabin in Patagonia
Dudes, React Native is dead
OTA and Hot Reload are coping mechanisms for underlying skill issue
Obvsly a joke, but please shut up about it
So far developing native apps is surprisingly NOT painful, apps open fast, everything works, no modules, just plain platform code
It's 2026 and @Google permanently closes developer accounts
As in... forever... you need to create new gmail account to publish apps again....
The app stores need to die
I'm starting a new project and I'm going to try just to use native apps
Because I don't want to deal with the react-native tool chain and community packages
And because I want to see the advantages and disadvantages
Should be interesting
I don't get it... it's 2026, we already had better tech and now every time I add something to claude I have to restart the session? what?

CHAT CONTROL 2.0 BLOCKED AGAIN, THANKS TO YOU!
What happened yesterday: the @Europarl_EN blocked the deal pushed by the @EUCouncil.
The Council wanted:
(1) "voluntary" scanning of all private chats under "search plans" approved automatically unless an authority vetoes;
(2) administrative authorities, not courts, ordering providers to scan private messages, not limited to suspects, using AI with massive false positive rates;
(3) making the failed Chat Control 1.0 mass scanning regime permanent, while admitting it is not effective, as we discussed in my previous posts.
Your voice to parliamentarians made a huge difference again: the Parliament refused scanning of private communications, stating it must remain limited to persons linked to child sexual abuse, not everyone by default or under a blanket licence, as Council proposed.
The Parliament also closed the back door where "risk mitigation" rules could force providers into scanning under threat of fines.
What did pass: a preliminary agreement on scanning publicly accessible content for known child abuse material. This was proposed by the Parliament as the effective, targeted alternative.
We still wait for the text to see what this means and will inform you in the coming weeks.
This defense proves again: our voice matters when it is vocal, with your support!
And we will need it again in November, so please follow the updates.
Now, it is important to call or write to your MEP and your government to say thank you to those who stand on the side of privacy.
They need to see you are watching their move. Please repost.

It's been 6 months since I moved back home from Europe and here are a great deal of lessons, some expected, some unexpected:
🧵
You can close your eyes and ignore all of this, but you won't escape the consequences. Weather is a global system, so whatever happens here WILL affect you (hello European heat waves) and mind you this is just Bolivia
