I wanted to let him know because I know how long and successful their relationship has been. I don’t know that there’s a better guy on tour than Carlos Alcaraz. He hit me back right away after winning Vienna. He told me he was so happy for me and how big the improvements in my game were gonna be working with Juan Carlos. this is also why we talk about "lesser" players peaking against him. its less that they choose to peak and more that carlos' tennis giving them a chance to win unlikely points and boosting their confidence and mentality. even when they lose players say they love to play carlos!

carlos doesnt drop sets & go down against randos because he's a worse player than sinner it's all about their playing styles. carlos' tennis allows his opponents in the game more often than not and no matter how many peaks he hits this wont change

he plays high risk high reward tennis and he's prone to rallies so of course there are dips in his performance during matches. he could fix every technical problem he has and this would still stay the same!!!!!

yes sinner would probably win this in straights but on the off chance of his opponent having match point he would probably lose the match.personally as a carlos fan i wouldnt have it any other way i like carlos because of his style of tennis i think thats what makes him an atg
