Barely halfway through our first sunny week of the year and the Peak District tourists have set my favourite place alight…how do they even manage it?

Firefighters are now being supported at this incident by partners through the Fire Operations Group.
The fire involves approximately 15,000 sqm of moorland.
We're expected to remain on scene into the evening.
More tragic news out of Derby this weekend. Police have sadly found a body in search of missing @BCFC fan, Paul Pike.
The community banded together in the search for the 18-year-old this week, but this is the news many feared. So sad.

Part of Derby city centre has been taped off by police after multiple people, people enjoying a night out, were struck by a car on Friar Gate.
A man in his 30s has been arrested. There is not believed to be any danger to the public.

Remembering my Grandad Harry on what would have been his 100th birthday today.
