Every AI company is trying to make AI smarter.
i’m building the opposite: AI that makes people smarter.
What we’ve learned since relaunching Edirae:
- People actually need help with learning properly. The reviews have been amazing.
- shipped “Think first”: the AI asks for your guess before it explains
- Google started surfacing our learning guides, with zero ad spend.
The signs that we are building something meaningful is beginning to show.
We do not rest and give up!

AI is getting smarter every year. Humans are not.
here's a 2-minute test: pick something you "learned" last month. close every tab. explain it out loud like you're teaching a 12-year-old.
if you got stuck, you didn't learn it. you just saw it.
that's why i built edirae. it explains anything simply, makes you explain it back, then brings it back right before you forget.
try the test and tell me what you got stuck on 👇

I hate when people look at guys like this and look down on their work. Wake up and smell the gutter; to be anything at all in this country is a hard task; to be a self-taught robotics engineer is impressive.

You guys 😭
I landed my first Data Analyst role!!!
One month since the applications, interviews, rejection, learning and persistence finally led somewhere.
Still learning. Still growing. Still grateful.
Alhamdulillah.

This was just a brief test as it was already late. Huge improvement on engine power. Don't forget, this prototype is actually big; With an 8ft wingspan and weighing about 60kg, this is no toy⚠️
There's no space in this compound anymore for this project
It is now too loud, too fast & too powerful for this place (I don't want my neighbors to make me a topic at the next estate meeting🥲)
Also don't forget, every time we do a full test, the engine burns about ₦30k worth of kerosene ⚠️
R&D is no small thing
This is the update on our indigenous aerospace project development.
Work on the control computer system & further testing continues

We did a brief & recorded jet engine taxi test today🔥😏
You will see the improved power of the engine in a few minutes
No overheating ✅
It was super loud to the point my neighbor the former deputy governor of the state had to call me to find out what was making the ground shake😂
I had to stop because it's already late and my good & understanding neighbors need to rest
Stay tuned.....

Philosophy has a name for what happened here ; the heteronomy of ends. We pursue one purpose and serve another. A man throws a stone to startle the birds and instead knocks fruit from the tree. The birds fly, someone eats. The thrower did not plant the tree. He is still part of the harvest.
Dorothea Lange in 1936 was a government photographer assigned to document migrant workers. She took a picture of Florence Owens Thompson and her children because the composition was strong, not because she intended to turn one destitute woman into an icon of the Depression. The photograph, later titled Migrant Mother, travelled farther than Lange expected. It produced both pity and policy. Thompson herself later said she felt used. Lange never claimed sainthood. Yet the picture still moved money, attention, and eventually aid toward people who had been invisible. The photographer’s motive was professional and the consequence was larger than the motive.
Something similar happened here. This banger boy's first impulse appears to have been engagement. He used another man’s face. He later said he was sorry. He also, whether he likes the phrasing or not, performed the function of the unexpected messenger. Without that post, Felix remains a peanut seller whose delayed graduation stays private. With it, the same man becomes the subject of both ridicule and an outpouring that reached millions of naira within 24 hours.
He posted two photographs of a man holding a blue project file, wrote "I just did my final year project defense 🥹❤️", and later admitted it was a "range-bathe" tweet. What followed was mockery, then an apology, then the reluctant sentence that now sits at the centre of the story: "I brought this young and hardworking man into spotlight."
That sentence is more honest than most of the commentary that came after it. Intent is rarely the whole of an action. History is full of people who lit a fuse they did not mean to light and then watched the explosion rearrange lives they never planned to touch.
It is possible to hold two thoughts at once. This banger boy's method was careless. His later clarification was self-protective. And yet the chain of events he started is now inseparable from Felix’s sudden visibility and the money that followed it. To pretend the first act was purely noble would be sentimental. To pretend it was irrelevant would be dishonest.
The spotlight he mentions is real. He did not design the light. He only pointed it. Sometimes that is enough.
