Let's set the record straight on Flash.
There's been a lot of noise about why we're exploring an acquisition and are willing to wind down a revenue positive business, and some of it has turned into claims that we didn't know what we were doing. That's simply not true, and the numbers back us up.
We did $22B+ in volume and ~$6M in pure revenue without raising a single dollar. We put up $500K of our own money to start, right after the FTX crash, when it felt like the stupidest possible time to build an exchange.
Here's what we actually built:
We were the first exchange to bootstrap from an NFT raise, and were able to reward an equivalent amount of money in yield to the NFT holders within a year.
First and only protocol to offer a fully onchain points program gamified using program-upgradable evolving NFTs.
First onchain perps protocol on Solana to offer forex and commodity perps with up to 100x leverage.
First Solana perps protocol with a fully diluted token, with over 80% of tokens going straight to the community. We launched with zero external liquidity and seeded the FAF LP pool with ~$250K of our own money.
First exchange to offer up to 500x leverage on Solana.
First Solana perps protocol to transition to the ownership token standard with a 50% share in revenue rewarded to stakers.
First onchain perps exchange to offer equity perps, with @RemoraMarkets. Not synthetic gimmicks. Real backing, with the multi-token pool supporting spot swaps on the said equity tokens too. That alone did $150M+ in volume and generated over ~$1M in fees.
The only exchange live today where LPs get their yield in explicit notional USDC paid out in real time (people love that)
The first and only Solana perps exchange to push SVM scalability with @magicblock ephemeral rollup tech. Lowest latencies, zero transaction costs, a design we built from the ground up.
We took an exploit, limited the damage to ~$100K, concluded on the RCA and reached out to the team following responsible disclosure and came back live with all operations in under 24 hours having filled the hole to cover every single cent. Every user made whole. No excuses, no delays.
Followed up by building a systematic hardening system that stops a major exploit before it ever happens
Four years. No VC. Our own money, through the worst moment in crypto history. $22B in volume.

Colony started with one question: what does a truly self-sustaining onchain economy actually look like?
Season 0 was built to answer it.
A persistent onchain economy where players compete, produce resources, and make real strategic decisions within a live market.
In Season 0:
→ Nearly 5000 planets minted
→ Thousands of players competing
→ Tens of thousands of dollars in rewards distributed, fully onchain
Thanks to everyone who played, tested, broke things, and sent feedback. This season wouldn't have been possible without the community iterating with us in real time.
Season 0 showed us that a real economy can emerge even in the earliest version of the system.
Building on that foundation, we'll continue to make balance adjustments and refine the economic design. Expect changes to how Stardust is produced and how the leaderboard is driven:
→ Stardust planet bonus will increase from 0.1/hr to 0.25/hr
→ Stardust buildings will be limited to one per planet
→ Stardust leaderboard point value will change from 5000 to 3000
Next up on the roadmap are also:
→ A referral system to help bring your friends into the game
→ Integrating items that will be deployed for Season 2
