@GOVUK absolute abuse of the Severe Alert system, which is now being turned off on my phone. You've totally undermined the purpose of the system. Send a text, for sure, but don't abuse emergency broadcast systems to tell us about not using BBQs.

I’ve seen the fires, but this wasn’t warning me about a fire. It was warning me not to start one. That does not have the same level of severity as a fire nearby, and will just condition people to ignore the notifications going forward.

Another day, another time I've been unable to rely on @ionos_help_uk for support because they insist on people making phone calls. You guys do realise some people are deaf and can't make or receive phone calls, right? What happened to a good old email address?!

Dear @BMW_UK, please could you provide some insight into how I get my home address added to your maps?! My i4, which was built after my house, has no idea that the road I live on even exists. And, it seems that if I set a route for “home” I end up at the local pub!

Now back in the UK. How do I know? @TUIUK flight arrived so early it got a gate 30 mins late. @HM_Passport e-Gate didn’t work. No sign of bags, @Gatwick_Airport seem not to employ anyone in North Terminal arrivals so we’re all just stood waiting with no news. Business as usual.

Yay the bags have arrived. They’ve traveled from gate to belt in around about the same time our aircraft flew 1200 miles. Way to go!

Ouch. Nasty #fire on the #M4 near #Swindon. Looks like a #RangeRover. Seen two fire trucks on the way, traffic building up very quickly. Heard lots of pops and bangs and the front of the car was… missing.

@MailOnline @dailystar if you fancy printing the same old story tomorrow, @easyJet 6518 from Corfu to Gatwick delayed due to weather. Plane arrives 3 hours late. No ground staff, no bottled water, no communication and nobody answering the phones. Shambles, bit of a joke etc…

Fact: the Captain just told us he was sure we had been reassured by ground staff and handling agent staff about the delay. We haven’t seen _anyone_ and have heard _nothing_.

Update: we’re at Gatwick and got a very early notification that bags are on belt 1. Then another notification and bags are on belt 3 now. And again, no easyJet staff in sight. Absolute shitshow.
Prediction: someone on the crew will be unsure which airport we arrive at and will either misname it or tell us the wrong time.
Prediction: there’ll be little to eat or drink because of a “busy outbound sector” which is @easyJet speak for “we can’t be assed to pay caterers in Corfu”.
So I’ve just found out that my boyfriend refers to me setting an alarm to get up in the morning as “the Ben Cooper alarm clock hour” to his work colleagues #Rude #Offended #TiredBoy
