The one thing I still don’t understand with this OpenAI craziness is… why doesn’t @sama believe in capital letters?
I feel like if this is going to be my last tweet, I should post a pic of @Siftee - the power user twitter client I spent several years of my life working on and shut down a DECADE ago after hq became increasingly hostile to third party developers. #GoodByeTwitter
I really hope some day we can look back at this as a great day for massively distributed public messaging services. I mean, not this one, obviously.
I made a lot of awesome friends through Twitter, but I haven’t been in touch with most of them for years since I mostly abandoned this platform. Thinking about both the history and future of this service just makes me overwhelmingly sad.
Imagine if instead Twitter stuck with its early approach of trying to figure out how to foster a thriving third-party developer community and a rev share model.
Hey how are things going over here on this great platform not controlled by a single white male billionaire? Oh...
Congrats to Twitter for taking decisive action years too late. Pretty sure that’s part of the company culture.
Twitter selectively deleting Trump tweets is not good enough. SUSPEND HIS ACCOUNT. At least do it for 24 hours ffs.
Wow, Twitter has introduced a hierarchically threaded conversation view? I didn't think it was a technical challenge that would take a decade plus to solve, but now I'm excited to see what Twitter will look like in 2030!
Reading about Dorsey's latest plans and am just kind of dumbfounded about how Twitter continues to think about their product. Also I have no idea how this thing works anymore.
