Security teams have gotten very good at responding to threats faster. ORDR CEO Pandian Gnanaprakasam argues that's no longer the goal. By moving part of the budget out of the daily firefight and into structural fixes, you make whole categories of risk disappear.

For Cybersecurity Awareness Month, let's get into what ORDR and @Cisco make possible together: segmentation enforced in days through the ISE, SDA and Meraki infrastructure customers already run. bit.ly/4k7fCRT

The best part of day one at MD Expo was watching people find out they’re all working on the same puzzle. 🧩 Biomed keeps an inventory, facilities keeps one, security keeps one, and the device touching all three gets described three different ways. #MDExpo Find us at booth #703!

Five things that reduce real risk: 1. Build device inventory from network traffic 2. Rotate vendor remote access and service accounts 3. Treat end-of-life gear as a network problem 4. Write segmentation policy from observed behavior 5. Alert on new destinations before new devices

MD Expo is in Orlando this week and the HTM community is out in force. ORDR is at booth 703 October 13 to 15 with demos running. What’s the device question you’d want answered in seconds? Bring it over! Book a demo: bit.ly/3VzjReU

Refrigeration controllers in hundreds of French supermarkets got pushed into heating cycles. Coverage blames old firmware. A more useful question: how an attacker reached them? ORDR CEO Pandian Gnanaprakasam wrote about how this happens. bit.ly/3VLAZOG

MD Expo Fall is about to kick off in Orlando, and the ORDR team will be at booth #703 all three days! 🍊 ORDR CEO Pandian Gnanaprakasam and ORDR Director of Healthcare Product Development Benjamin Stock are both onsite. See you there!

ORDR is now on the @Cisco Global Price List! Device intelligence into ISE, your firewalls and Meraki, from a sensor inside hardware you already own. ORDR Fellow Craig Hyps broke it down at at Cisco Live ▶️

The ATM you used this morning could be running Windows 95. For Cybersecurity Awareness Month we're looking at how organizations protect customer trust on devices nobody thinks of as online. Troy Arnold breaks down what this looks like ▶️

Our team will be at MD Expo to show Biomed and HTM teams how to turn connected-device data into answers that help improve inventory, utilization, and lifecycle planning. 🙌 Catch up with us at Booth #703. Bring the device questions that take your team weeks to answer.

It's 10 p.m. Do you know what's on your network? 🤔 Somebody did once. He retired, and the handover was a spreadsheet nobody could vouch for. Remember: Institutional knowledge walking out the door is a security event, too!

An AI tool that only answers what you already knew to ask is just a search bar. 💯 A tool trained on the internet can tell you what a CVE is. A tool holding your inventory tells you which of your infusion pumps has it, and what else in the building they're talking to.

One health system took a year and a half to get from "what's on our network" to enforced policy. HIPAA microsegmentation requirements still have a moving timeline. But 80% of healthcare is still working on basic visibility, so it's time to start thinking about what's next.

We're excited for @MDExpo Orlando this October! 🍊 Come talk to us about CMMS data, what your first hour after an advisory looks like, or the device you spent 40 minutes hunting down last week. Say hi at booth 703 👋 mdexpo.com

The sharpest person on your security team spends most of Tuesday doing retrieval. Device list from one system, CVEs from another, end-of-life from a third, etc. Nobody was hired for that. 💯 ORDR IQ sandbox is here to help. Try it for free: ordr.net/ordr-iq/sandbox

"We've been beaten with that stick for a long time." 👆 Wes Wright on the gap between what a tool claims and what it delivers, after 30 years in health delivery ops. His case: you can't apply AI across a whole tech stack from the network layer. You have to go device-level.

Happy #ITProDay to every human who connects the systems that make business work. Networking owns the switch. Security owns the policy. The device belongs to whoever bought it. None of them talk to each other, so you make three calls and get an answer. 🙏

Smart people build for other smart people. Ours build for biomed leads, network architects and CISOs who know their environments cold. And we're hiring. 💙 Check our open roles: ordr.net/careers?utm_source=…

ORDR is on the Cisco Global Price List. 🤝 Cisco sellers can quote us on Cisco paper, right alongside the switches and ISE licenses. The buying process finally caught up to what our two engineering teams have been doing together for years. 🙌

Every CEO was told: cut 10% of budget, move it to AI. Our CEO's number for CISOs is steeper. Cut 30% out of the day-to-day and spend it on structural work. It could make all the difference in your security.
