This post just gave me the biggest "oh, KoD was REALLY that bad, huh?" moment😳 Because let's be real: if KoD could've been solved with a midnight letter, an apology, and a few free pulls, PPG would've absolutely done it. But they didn't😶 Instead, they stayed silent while players were talking about refunds, consumer rights, and even legal complaints. At that point, the issue had already gone way beyond ordinary fandom drama. One situation is players being anxious about the future of the game and wanting reassurance. The other was players questioning whether the product they paid for matched what was marketed to them in the first place. Those are not remotely the same category😌 So no, this statement doesn't make me jealous. It just reminds me that KoD was a genuinely serious controversy, and the fact that we still don't even know how those complaints ultimately ended is... pretty telling. Which is exactly why some of us will continue to question, criticize, and hold PPG accountable when necessary!! Because if players stop speaking up and just accept everything, then this lazy-ass company will keep learning the same lesson: they can get away with almost anything and eventually people will move on. As a KoD veteran, I'm glad for y'all getting a clarification letter. But wow, this company really gives everyone a different character development experience🤣
