Still very much a work in progress, so I'd love your feedback and bug reports. I mostly built it as a sandbox for myself before adding things to ORBAT Mapper. (2/2)
After some flashy TacTrace terrain work, back to the glamorous world of symbolic policies: control measure label sizing.
TacTrace 1.18 is out! New in this release: an experimental terrain analysis panel in the sidebar. Feedback welcome.
TacTrace now features basic terrain analysis tools. Still experimental, but fun to play around with!

PowerPoint and bullet points not cutting it for your COE presentation? Try Hellfire, now available in TacTrace.
A new version of the @orbat-mapper/convert-symbology npm package is now out! Huge thanks to @lhapaipai for the bug fixes.

As @FalklandsinUK reminds me, the City of London hosted a victory parade on 12 Oct 1982 for the Falklands Task Force ~ 🇫🇰 ~ so obviously we need a map of the Falkland Islands. Surveyed and drawn by No 2 Topo, 14th (Corps Fd Svy) RE in 1943, published as GSGS 4465 in 1944. Lovely.
ORBAT Mapper can now show 3D terrain and hillshading completely offline.
Drop a PMTiles elevation archive (like a Mapterhorn extract) on the map, click "Use for terrain", done. Pair it with an offline basemap and you don't need a network at all.
Read more about this in the documentation docs.orbat-mapper.app/guide/…
Use can also load PMTiles from a folder
