2 wars cause hardship or opportunity. Good chance it's already redacted, but there'll be much doublespeak on this. "The masses never revolt of their own accord... and they never revolt merely because they are oppressed. As long as they are not permitted to have standards of comparison, they never even become aware that they are oppressed." Orwell '84 The division is what side on the memory hole Winston threw 'The Soul of Man Under Socialism' down you're on. IMO.

The undue burden. And the irony. From the 1850s coinage act of debt payments of less than 25¢ to abolishing the penny in 2025. Even though the Sacagawea dollar falls on the asset side of the Treasury instead of the fiat debt side of a paper Federal Reserve Note, it'll eventually become burdensome too from debasement. Or sometimes the metal content becomes a burden for the issuer as seen in the Gold Clause cases of the 30s. Speaking of, I can't remember the last time I received a $20 gold coin while paying for something with a $50 dollar bill. 43 years ago Larry Flint though he found the loophole on the Coinage Act of 1965 & 31 U.S.C. § 5103 But Larry didn't read Justice James Clark McReynolds brilliant dissent from decades earlier. RIP. Norman v. Baltimore & Railroad Co United States v. Bankers Trust Co Nortz v. United States Perry v. United States and later becoming tested IRL by JMF Enterprises v. Beem among others. Imo, it's very interesting the issuer can debase the unit of account to the point it's burdensome, then change the rules on legal tender or the usage to settle debt. Some even said 'This is Nero at his worst' Can't legally melt a penny, but at 4 1/2 cents of copper in a pre-82, paying a debt with a wheelbarrow of pennies, is not only ruled illegal by the court, but foolish.
I walk the dogs 362 days out of the year so I figured I might as well share my deep thoughts : I'm not 100% Shor what will happen with Satoshi's Sats, but it's the 5% gorilla in the room. Some like to sail the idea to fork it. Others reserve it. To get to the top it'll cost you some bucks or some juice & not sure what point the big holders become a currency risk to the issuer on the swap back priced in USD. I wonder how a deflationary commodity is a strategic reserve asset to a Treasury, especially when gold is ledgered at $42. How does Gresham's Law apply to the digital commodity if viewed as a currency, against the inflationary fiat dollar being used to acquire the former. Or is it a nothingburger due to legal tender laws. That's about as far as I got.

AFTER THE CROPS DIED: DIEWITHTHEMOSTLIKES @toadswiback our crops died a few years back or decades depending on who you ask or maybe they never really grew dutifully wilting to the blade they worshiped and succumbing to their manicured height and the inevitability of joining the dust that seemed to eat the town but we didn’t mind too much because they were easier to pull having never lived and we didn’t feel much when they left us and now and again we wondered where they went sometimes we couldn’t tell at all and sometimes those tending our protrusions would lie in the shade they made and talk to them about losing the farm or the rain water we didn’t drink or the regret they sowed in our leaves and we wondered if the harvest would stop someday or if we would continue to feed people who had stopped eating around the time the crops died

Corn in, beans out. The dilemma after 3 days of rain. Does one try and dry it standing to avoid the increased elevator cost, especially at +6 points wet, but then is exposed to the rising diesel costs next week for the Deere combine. You leave it and hope. About 12 bucks to run a combine harvester per acre. Diesel cost increase of 20¢ gallon would add add 50¢ to running the Deere vs 10 bucks for 1 point of energy to dry per acre. I imagine the farmer is earning 25+ bucks less an acre because of the wars. Might not sound like much, but adds up, especially being consecutive to losses from last year's harvest. Most avoided the fertilizer spike due purchasing last year before the war, but market price is currently higher than '25. More beans it is, continuing from my last post. Makes me think of one of my favorite pieces After The Crops Died
Talking beans. Talking beans with my farm neighbors, whom are going strait beans this planting season. It might sound like a lot of beans at harvest, but those are soy, not baked. Bunch of pissed off dudes about the current trickle of Urea. I asked them if we could substitute it with our piss since both have origins back to οὖρον, but they said 'ur ine idiot ' My dad always told me one can of beans in the basement is better than 2 cans of Bush beans on the shelf at BJ's Wholesale. The dude died before Diewiththemostlikes's shiddy bush beans hit the shelf. I'd go so far to say the old adage also applies to shiddy beans. These beans hedge each other imo. If this economy goes from "green to brown" you got your basement beans. If there's some Clarity on Tethering digital legal tender centrally and we get a Minsky boom, there won't be enough shiddy Bush beans to go around. “i’m the first founder to ever use beans as a mechanism for multi-tiered exit liquidity. beans are indifferent to the tides of the market. because they are beans. a risk off, trad-fi approved storage of wealth,” -alphonso knudsen, enema, prophet At this time both cans of beans provide exit liquidity if/when needed. If we go higher to a place with golden streets, only 2000 shiddy Bush beans exist. On the other hand, if we don't keep winning, the basement beans will provide liquidity for your exit without having to barter. This is not financial advice. I'm basically an idiot. I think I've been around long enough to know I'm not going to remember what happened to this bowler hat next month. As of right now though instead of buying & burning to only then recoup the capital with one's listings of a project one support, maybe one could buy & gift it to a recipient who then dumps it into a weth bid, takes the proceeds and buys one's listings. The wallet be made whole, and a new collector in the project one supports. Or the collector could burn the listed supported NFTs received from ones gift. Guess it's the paradox of choice. My point is there's more than one way to subvert an ape if that's one thing.
Burn or restitutio in integrum
