I will be releasing Jupiter in Cancer pewter talisman coins on August 20th at 3:00PM/CST.
They were ensouled with precise incantations to bring the owner public success, to be seen as knowledgeable and trustworthy, for spiritual and academic authority, career elevation, publishing, and visibility in your career.
It should be stated that this set of Jupiter in Cancer talismans are not primarily for the acquisition of material things. This is because of the Moons peregrine condition in the 9th house and in Al-Dhira, the 7th lunar mansion. The coins should be used to foster a relationship with Jupiter and for spiritual and academic advancement. Physical manifestations are just brownie points that may occur.
These will be unlisted on my website and only accessible through the link I will post here, on X. An X-clusive, if you will. Each coin will be priced at $21 and there are only ELEVEN available.
The next set of Jupiter talismans, which are quartz pendants, will be released at a later date while Jupiter is still in Leo II.
It's autumn now and the leaves here in the Midwest have begun to change. It has me thinking about the color green a lot and the annual fleeing of it.
The fifteenth-century physician and philosopher Marsilio Ficino describes the Venusian virtue of green things beautifully in Three Books on Life:
"...the nature of green things, for so long as they stay green, is not only alive but even youthful and abounding with very salubrious humor and a lively spirit; and because of this a certain youthful spirit flows to us through the odor, sight, use, and frequent habitation of and in them." (Kaske & Clark translation)
This Venus retrograde is hitting a lot of us pretty hard.
And perhaps there is something fitting about turning toward Venus precisely as the world around us begins to lose its green. As seen above, Ficino explains that green things are repositories of the qualities that allow life to flourish and renew itself. Even when the landscape appears to be withdrawing into dormancy, Venusian life has not disappeared. It's changing into a different kind of beauty.
So, in honor of Venus, and perhaps as a small antidote to the seasonal loss of green, I've decided to make my Venus in Taurus collection half-off through the end of the retrograde, November 13, 2026.
These talismans were made for cultivating Venusian qualities of beauty, pleasure, affection, prosperity, and material flourishing. It's an invitation to tend the inner garden even when the world outside is beginning to go dormant.
Sale Price: $75 - Free shipping to the continental US; an additional $50 for international orders. Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay are accepted.

The best astrology readings come from those with the same Almuten or chart ruler as the lord of your 7th house
Join me as I give a talk on astrological magic at the ‘Enchanted! Exposition’ in Conway, AR on 11/14/2026.
I will also be introducing a few 15th century grimoire passages that I have personally translated from Latin, including some material that has never previously been available in English.
“As Above, So Below: An Introduction to Astrological Magic
Discover the historical art of working with the planets. This introductory lecture explores the seven planetary powers, celestial correspondences, planetary timing, magical images, and the creation of talismans. Drawing from ancient, medieval, and Renaissance traditions, we will explore how astrologers understood the connection between heaven and earth; and how that understanding became a practical magical art. The lecture concludes with a real-world example of a planetary talisman and the astrological election behind it. No prior knowledge required.”
As the Heart of the Scorpion rises, we sing her praises. AMA, AMA, AMA.
May God bless you, star of Lisi, Mother of the White Fume!
Saturn, Jupiter, and the Sun are mostly counted as friends, so there is little difficulty in harmonizing those influences. Venus presents the greater problem.
Saturn generally abhors Venus, yet Venus should still be represented because Libra is the ascendant of my election. We need to find a substance that is not overtly Venereal but that can still signify her rulership of the ascendant and still remain compatible with Saturn.
For this purpose, I have chosen the root of flowering angelica. Agrippa gives galbanum as the suffumigation of Libra, which is a resin whose aroma is remarkably reminiscent of angelica root. At the same time, roots belong naturally to Saturn, making angelica root an especially fitting way to incorporate the Venusian sign without introducing an overly Venereal quality.
Fortunately, Jupiter and the Sun share a number of traditional suffumigations. Agrippa specifically gives frankincense for Leo, making it an obvious inclusion here. The resulting blend brings together the several planetary and zodiacal significations while keeping Jupiter as its principal character.
My specialty blend is therefore: amber, saffron, angelica root, aloeswood, and frankincense oil.
Saffron and frankincense will predominate the top notes of the blend with brightness and warmth. The amber resin and aloeswood come together to give it a rich balsam fragrance. Beneath them is the dry, earthy, and herbaceous scent of the angelica root.
Please note, if you are not able to source these specific ingredients, do not fret. Any good quality stick/cone incense will do.
Leo II Suffumigation
I have given out a fantastic election that is tomorrow morning for a Leo II Decan talisman but, I neglected to tell you about the appropriate suffumigation. Enjoy!
When crafting a ritual incense, I take the traditional doctrine of planetary friendship seriously. However, in this case, we have several layers of planetary and zodiacal correspondence to reconcile.
The suffumigation should be first and foremost Jovian in character, while also accounting for the terms of Saturn, the sign of the Sun (Leo), and the sign of Venus (Libra).
In another more ancient text attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, 'The Sacred Book of Hermes to Asclepius' translated by J. Pedro Feliciano from the French and Greek, we receive an additional image for the 2nd face of Leo.
The uses of these specific descriptions are obviously apotropaic in nature. You see this frequently when texts are discussing the broader zodiacal framework like the signs and faces also, the extra-zodiacal constellations.
Replying to @opushelios
As usual for these decan threads, I also include the relevant excerpt from the Liber Hermetis translated by Robert Zoller. It’s a pagan text originating from a Graeco-Egyptian source (attributed to Hermes Trismegistus) from around the 3rd century AD but with origins in the 2nd century BC.
The text usually provides a more ancient perspective upon the images of the faces we know today however, we find little more than a name and its natal significance regarding the second face of Leo:
“The second decan of Leo has the face of Jupiter. Its name is Zachor. It causes obstructions and abscesses for men. It rules the unknown land.”
My interest here is not particularly with the image itself but, with the choice of stone.
In this case, we have the decanic image being engraved upon selenite, which is a white stone. We also know that Jupiter's primary colors are white and yellow.
This discovery further corroborates a theory from the Picatrix that decanic talismans should be made from a stone or material similar in color to the planet being ensouled.
I’m back with a fun and interesting decan thread! This time we are focusing on Leo II, a face of Jupiter. I’m also offering a free election I found for everyone to use for this Thursday.
Through the occult and astrological history of the West, we see many descriptions for the powerful and commanding face of Leo II.
In this thread we will be exploring several relevant but, varying perspectives on the images appropriate to this face.
So how can we use this election to its full potential? Leo II is an interesting decan in that it promises victory but, with undertones of strife and conflict.
Austin Coppock in his 36 Faces says this of a Jupiter talisman made in Leo II:
“The greater benefic is considered the ruler of this face in both major systems, and is thus well-positioned to grant boons. A talisman impressed with Jupiter’s image in this decan will grant its bearer strength, confidence and an increase of reputation. It will also assist in ferrying one to positions of greater prominence and currying the favor of those in power.”
Taking a leaf out of the Picatrix, in order to conjure the powers of a decan and ensoul its virtue within a talisman, a few electional criteria must be met.
1. The ruler of the face should be in the face (In this case, Jupiter between the 11th degree and the 20th degree of Leo)
2. The ruler of the face must be in accordance with the usual standards for astrological talismans (good house, unafflicted, direct in motion, etc).
3. The Sun should rise in the hour and day of the ruler of the face.
4. The Moon should also be of a good condition.
The election I am giving out is quite amazing. We have all of these criteria being met: Jupiter in Leo II, well conditioned and in the 11th house; a trine to a Jupiter-ruled Moon that is unafflicted, in the terms of Jupiter, and in her planetary joy of the 3rd house; also, the Sun is rising during Jupiter’s hour and on his day.
The exact time will vary for everyone but in general, it is the first hour after the sun rises on Thursday, the 17th.
My advice is to use this election to create a talisman for yourself or loved ones for the victory over hidden enemies, winning lawsuits, gaining authority, obtaining favor, courage/confidence, navigating unfamiliar territory. Another use of this decan could be to manifest travel plans or goals.
Any image I have mentioned would be appropriate to inscribe upon a talisman of paper, stone, or metal.
The tarot card ruling Leo II is the Six of Wands: Victory. If you are unable to craft a talisman, you could light some incense and meditate on this card and ponder about what victory looks like for you and how you can reclaim your own power.
I hope you found this thread useful. These decan threads take several hours of research and this time, my own translation efforts. If you enjoyed this, I would love a like, repost, and/or follow!
