A 22-year-old young lady came to my DM yesterday to complain about her 4-year-relationship with her 28-year-old boyfriend.
Her major concerns were that he has been cheating many times on her.
After reading all that she wrote, she then told me that her boyfriend is also a follower and he was the one who introduced her to the page and she has been using the teachings to improve herself and the relationship.
So I asked her to give me his handle.
She didn't hesitate.
Then I copied her message to me and sent to her boyfriend.
"Hello, this is from your girlfriend. Would you like to say something about it?"
He read all that she wrote and told me that all that she told me was the truth.
He then acknowledged that those times that he cheated were moments of weakness.
He apologized and said that he would do better and still wishes to continue the relationship.
Then I advised him on what to do.
I went back to his girlfriend and advised her to continue her relationship with him and that she should stop snooping on his phones if she wants peace for herself.
For me, if cheating is a deal breaker for any young lady, I believe they will walk away from the relationship.
When I advised her to continue with the relationship, she was happy and she thanked me.

So, I got a salary increase but it wasn't what I was expecting.
Then I told my lovely wife.
Me: Baby, this is my new salary. I was hoping to increase your monthly "salary" by a 100k. It seems I may not be able to do that at this time.
Then my wife and I started gisting about other things, and how she really appreciates my efforts and how difficult it is.
I thought I was having a conversation with a considerate woman ooo.
After we finished gisting, I gave her a good night kiss.
"Good night sweetie"
"Ehen sweetie, before you sleep, can you at least add 20k as an increase?"
To show say I be considerate husband, I had to play along like a "loving husband".
Ladies and gentlemen, na so she get 20k increase ooo.
I was just trying to form caring and understanding husband ooo.
My lovely wife come capitalize on am.
You know the funniest part?
"Sweetie do you know that I have been thinking of how to ask you for an increase, thank God you said it 😂"
She dey laugh me.
Never again!
I'll never be a mumu man again!
Please forgive me for failing you people 😭.

A prayer for every vendor this new week.
May this week bring us the kind of customers that make us grateful we didn't give up on our businesses.
May our products find the right people, our services attract the right clients, and our efforts begin to yield the results we've been praying for.
May we never lack the resources, ideas, strength, and wisdom needed to keep our businesses running.
For every vendor struggling with low sales, may there be a turnaround.
For those waiting for payments, may help come speedily. For those losing hope, may God renew their strength and give them reasons to keep going.
May we not labour in vain. May our businesses grow beyond our expectations, and may we have genuine reasons to celebrate one another.
This week, may we receive good news, close profitable deals, gain loyal customers, and experience opportunities that move our businesses forward.
May God bless the work of our hands and cause our businesses to flourish.
This week will be fruitful for us.
Happy new week, vendors!

When we're sick, why do we end up sleeping in the living room? Is there a scientific explanation for this?

Keep quiet.
Was God foolish when he made it that a human being will wait for 9 months before delivery?
Most animals do not wait for up to 9 months to get pregnant and give birth.
Any parent that cannot pay for the delivery of their child has failed that child.
Replying to @jon_d_doe
This is a bad take. Being born poor is not failure. Failure is refusing to break the cycle. Every parent struggles, asking for help to pay delivery doesn't mean they failed you, it means they wanted you alive.

"We want to have 4 children"
Says a couple that earn a combined income of 500k monthly in a country like Nigeria.
Delusional couples.
Your children will suffer big time.
And they'll beg to feed.

The first time your parents failed you, is to be asking for financial help to pay for your delivery.
Na there your suffering from start.

Let me give you all an unsolicited advise.
If you're that uncle or aunty that is mostly always the one that shows kindness such as giving money to your nieces or nephews.
Please make sure that you always do that in the presence of your children.
The kindest uncle or aunty is not always the best uncle or aunty when your nephews and nieces become adults.
And that's because your siblings rarely reciprocate the same kindness to your children.
And when your siblings rarely do that, there is bound to be envy and entitlement.
And you'll not be there when they're discussing you with their children.
Have you ever wondered why your father that was kind to your uncle, aunties, nephews and nieces suddenly becomes an enemy?
Or during his downtimes, they all deserted him?
End.

That uncle or aunty that you're not close to, or even close to their children, was made possible mostly because of your parents.
If you check well, your parents were envious of their achievements, & refused to accept that they failed in their duties & responsibilities towards you.
Your school fees was not paid by your parents and because your uncle or aunty refused to help out, he or she became an enemy.
Instead of your parents to accept that it was their responsibility to pay your school fees, they'll be blaming your uncles and aunties.
"I asked your uncle or aunty to help me pay your school fees but he refused. And their children go to expensive schools"
End.

In the morning she called and apologized because he had blocked her everywhere.
When he later asked about her husband and home, she said everything was settled and they were fine.
He still doesn’t know how she covered up the scandal, and it confirmed for him that some men will forgive cheating if no one else finds out.
The next week she called saying she wasn’t feeling well and needed to see a doctor. He sent her money. At the hospital she discovered she was three weeks pregnant; the same period they had met, but they had only done oral, no penetrative sex.
She asked if he was angry. He said no; he was just happy someone was coming who might help keep her marriage intact.
After that he tried to keep distance, though they lived near each other and she kept finding ways to reach out. She frequently asked for small money (₦5k here and there) and he gave when he could.
She gave birth this year. After the birth she still invited him to her husband’s house for the baby’s dedication; he refused to go.
When she heard he had broken up with his girlfriend, she called and said she was looking for a place to stay because she wanted to leave her husband’s house.
He told her plainly that she should leave when she gets the chance, because the husband might either be extremely naive or planning something bad for her.
He eventually moved out of the area because of her. As of when he shared the story, the couple was still together and she was still running the pimping business.
The story was shared in the context of marrying under 25 and the “yahoo” lifestyle effect, the flashy appearances, hidden double lives, and the damage that can follow.

A married man is angry with his wife and wants to make a decision.
Three years ago, he was in a financial mess and in debt due to some failed business deals.
He had to sell their only car to pay off some of the debt.
When his brothers-in-law got to know about his ordeals, they were not happy with the situation.
So they rallied to support him and bought another car for him.
He decided to set aside the business and started driving for Bolt/Uber with the car.
Through it, he was able to clear his debt and continued providing for his family. They have two children. Last Sunday, he was having a quarrel with his wife over an undisclosed issue.
Then he said, "I am the head of this home. I am grateful to God that I have good in-laws too, but I will not watch you disrespect me. I provide for you and the children the best I can."
Then his wife responded in a very rude way:
"Who would you have become if not for my brothers? Don't you also have brothers? What did they do for you?"
He said that he felt so cold after hearing what his wife said to him and that he now feels sudden hatred toward her.
He doesn't want to report her to her brothers, but he is no longer seeing his wife the same way.
He said that he cried that Sunday night because after she said that, he just left the house for a bar, where he cried in silence.
What is still painful to him is that his wife has still not apologized for what she said, and is going about her business like she did nothing.
He wants to quietly walk away from the marriage and go start his life somewhere else.
He will leave the car with her and abandon them to their fate. He doesn't feel the need to keep pushing for his family anymore because his wife has killed the man in him.
What would you advise him to do?

Not everyone who celebrates your success wants you to surpass them. Some people are comfortable supporting you only while they feel ahead.
Men need to understand one thing: what you spend on a woman will not necessarily make her loyal to you.
Women are to treat how they are ought to be treated, but spending heavily on her cannot buy genuine love or loyalty.
You may become her lifesaver because you provide what she lacks, but that doesn’t automatically mean she loves you. Sometimes, she values what you do for her more than she values you.
People enter relationships for different reasons. Some are genuinely attracted to you, while others are attracted to what they can gain from you.
As a man, stop focusing only on how much money you spend on her. Start paying attention to what she sees in you beyond your money.
Because the painful truth is that you can spend a fortune trying to prove your love to someone who is only interested in what you can provide.
Don’t confuse being needed with being loved.
