On #WorldAnesthesiaDay, we recognize the essential role anesthesia professionals play in safe surgery. Through our partnership with @WFSAorg, we support training that strengthens local anesthesia capacity and helps expand access to safe, high-quality surgical care.
In Kenya, distance, cost, limited infrastructure and shortages of local trained health workers can make cleft care difficult to access. Through #Operation100, we’re strengthening health systems so more children can receive safe, timely care closer to home: bit.ly/4hVyrVy
During #UNGA81, we brought global health leaders, partners and advocates together for a screening of “The Making of a Surgeon.” Featuring stories from Rwanda, the film and fireside conversation offered a closer look at surgical care, local capacity & women’s leadership in surgery

Today, on World Smile Day, I'm incredibly proud to launch the Cleft Community Resource Hub with @OperationSmile!
As an Operation Smile Global Smile Ambassador and someone born with a cleft, this work comes from a very personal place. So many questions come up throughout life, especially beyond childhood care and finding the right resources is not always easy.
I wanted to help create a resource that reflects what people actually need beyond pediatric care, bringing together information, connection and community in one place.
My hope is that everyone can feel more informed, supported and connected, no matter where they are in their journey.
