HERE’S MY MOST CONTROVERSIAL MEMESTOCK TAKE: A GREAT memestock may eventually deserve a HIGHER valuation than a great traditional meme. Not because “stocks are serious.” That completely misses the point. Start with an equally strong meme. Same culture. Same community. Same attention. Same liquidity. Then add: a recognizable stock narrative recurring external catalysts tokenized-stock rewards buybacks/burns treasury mechanics another potential audience Why should that asset automatically be worth LESS? I don’t think it should. The entire thing still depends on execution and volume. Bad meme + fancy tokenomics = still a bad meme. But if you eventually get: ELITE MEME + ELITE CULTURE + REAL VOLUME + ECONOMIC LOOP then IMO the valuation ceiling gets very interesting. We already know pure memes can reach billions. Memestocks don’t need to prove that memes can become huge. They need to prove the extra layers make a great meme even stronger. If they do? I think today’s valuations are going to look hilarious.
