Public speaking and community building will be even more valuable in the new AI age. People want human connection, they are already tired of AI slopfest. If you’re a creator hiding behind a keyboard you will be left behind. The meta skill here is communication, more specifically influence.

Don’t spend so much time trying to become someone extraordinary that you miss the chance to build an extraordinary life with the person you already are.

All facts here, nicely said my friend.
Don’t slow down with AI just to please people who don’t like it. The day your industry decides AI is acceptable, and that day is coming faster than most think, no one will give you back the years you spent trying to protect their opinion of you. A lot of people still fear that embracing AI will hurt their credibility, while major companies are already looking for talent that combines real creative skills with deep AI fluency. Opinions can change overnight. The time you lost trying to please them won’t come back.

Big things happen when you realize your ceiling is someone else’s floor. You can only live under someone else’s feet for so long.

Your personal brand is being built whether you realize it or not… AND Whether you’re sharing it on social media or not…

The person who can suffer through anything will suffer through the wrong things if they’re not careful. Having a high pain tolerance can be a blessing and a curse. I learned that lesson the hard way.

An important question I’ve asked myself (and still ask) to hit the next level… What do I have to stop being good at? Not an easy question to answer, worth it though.

The most “optimized” people I know are the most hollow. Like they life hacked the soul out of themselves.

Wealth isn't what you think it is. It's not the $10M you hope to have in your account. It's not the fancy car. Real wealth? No one telling you what to wear, when to show up, or what you're worth. It's doing what you want, when you want, with the people you care about. Wealth is freedom, not a number.

If your company gives you AI access to “enhance your role”… Use it to replace your role, here’s why: 1) That’s eventually going to happen anyway. 2) The ones who automate themselves first become more valuable to the company. 3) You’ll expose all the pointless shit they have you do, which benefits you and them. 4) You become the go to AI expert for a short while, giving you extra time to collect income until your next move. Work on replacing yourself before you’re easily replaced.

AI is quickly separating those with “busywork” and those who think for a living.

Patience is bullshit. Presence is the real virtue. Patience says “endure this”. Presence says “experience this”. Massive difference.

No matter how fast your thinking is, too much of it will slow you down.

This is the way.
Buy shit from your friends businesses and try and get free shit from strangers. Not the other way around.

Fun fact Friday from my 3 year old: “You can never give a dragon spicy sauce or it throws fire at you!” Figured I’d share the knowledge 🤝

My simple trick, not only for public speaking but social events as an introvert: Read a toddler book out loud word for word, then do it again but improvise the story (look in the mirror helps). You should read as if you’re keeping the attention of a toddler lol The silliness of this exercise is the valuable part, it works every time as a warm up before an event or party.
I tracked my heart rate during a 45-minute speaking gig in front of 500 people yesterday. I used to be a very nervous public speaker. My heart rate would spike like crazy. The simple trick that changed everything: I started practicing my talks while doing light cardio. It simulates the heart rate rise you’ll feel when you get in front of people. You start adapting and getting better at managing it. Sounds weird, but try it. Trust me, it really works.
