Apply as a team and earn €50 million in Mollie equity. Sign up here: mollie.com/nightshift Why now We've spent two decades building things most companies never get to build: a licensed, regulated position that lets us compete with banks. Proprietary infrastructure built the hard way, over years. Scale — 350,000 businesses trusting our platform. And something even more valuable: those customers that give us an enormous amount of signal about what they actually need, and serious pressure to keep improving. At the same time, the market is moving faster than anything I've seen. AI is rewriting what's possible in finance, in real time, right now. I think there's a window to bring what we've built and what's happening in AI together, and build something genuinely new on top of it. Not a just a new feature. We want to be part of shaping what the future will look like. Why we're doing it this way Here's something I've learned the hard way: going from zero to one, in a market moving this fast and this competitive, takes relentless grinding. Real sacrifice — the kind most people, reasonably, aren't willing or able to make. Seven days a week, for a long stretch, going further than feels comfortable. That's the bet we're making. We're putting real ownership, real budget, and the infrastructure and customers most startups spend years earning behind one founding team — and giving them a real, outsized upside if they pull it off: up to €50 million in Mollie equity. In exchange, they're taking on real risk: lower salary: there's not a lot of time to be spending it anyway, genuine personal dedication. If the team isn't performing, we'll replace it. We are creating a setup that’s agile by design — the team will work in ring-fenced environment, which gives us room to take more risks and move faster. But it can still leverage what Mollie has built: scale, customers, (banking) infrastructure, etc.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Important context needed: Trump previously promised 2 dividends and never followed through. In early 2025, Trump publicly backed a roughly $5,000 “DOGE dividend” In November 2025, he promised a $2,000 “tariff dividend” newsweek.com/every-dividend…

Translation: our gross margins are getting competed down to 0 by open source models and our capex burn rate is too high. Let’s maintain our margins with regulatory capture, ban open source models, and slow down the capex arms race. All with a virtue signaling cherry on top.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. This is by far the most awesome time to be alive. You can get rich as fuck with a laptop and a cellphone. You can begin to learn anything in seconds. You can have good friends in different countries. Don’t listen to the “everything sucks” doomer dorks. They doom to justify their inaction. Be a person of YOUR TIME and thrive.

Dear Software Community, 🚀🔒 It's Roman Storm here. As my trial begins on July 14, we're facing an unexpected hurdle: ⚠️ What started as a planned 2-week trial is now expected to last 3-4 weeks due to complex legal arguments and unforeseen witnesses and evidence. This means higher expenses for expert testimonies, thorough research, and my committed legal team. ⚖️💻 I'm pushing to raise an additional $1.5M as our updated fundraising target to sustain this fight. ⏰💰 Your support truly matters in safeguarding creativity and privacy from undue interference. 💡❤️ I'm truly grateful for all the support and love I've received during this ordeal. Donate now: freeromanstorm.com Please help me.

How can crypto ever reach mass adoption if you can lose your entire life savings just by clicking the wrong link?

idk man to me at this point it's funny how for 15 years (from btc to now) we stuck to crypto anarchism, cypherpunk ideologies and manifesto while talking about taking down banks and not trusting centralized companies to slowly letting VCs creep in and then celebrating "big wins" when biggest centralized companies started moving towards crypto while all this time blackrock been accumulating so much of btc and eth. it's not a cypherpunk manifesto anymore. the market is overly saturated where it will be hard to compete with big players or showcase free will outside market. call it a free market and faire capitalism, but it doesnt help us creating the groundbreaking industry we hoped for. just banks and conglomerates remodeling to use crypto all the while being biggest empires. thanks for coming to my mr. robot side talk.

Oh wow awesome another memecoin launchpad launched today. That’s exactly what we need in the crypto industry. More ways for 99% of people to lose their money to corrupt insider enrichment schemes. And now you can onboard your marks with Apple Pay. Absolutely diabolical tier scam.

I'm %100 confident that this stuff will take decades not years, yes I understand exponential growth. Why? Because autonomous cars took decade to just to be normal in SF. Rest of the world is still dont have it. We also dont have full autonomuos car. xitter.cf/Indian_Bronson/status/…
You should cherish today's world. It won't remain for long. - humanoid robots aren't *everywhere* - flying drones aren't *everywhere* - can do work making you valuable to others without specialized/hard-won/secret knowledge (pre-40s) - still legal to manually drive to go where you like - distinct global cultures and languages still exist - most people still share the same pre-/non-digital formative experiences - there are no large scale wars or trade breakdowns between nuclear states or global powers - assassinations are still mostly condemned - boomers are still with us (extreme moderating force) - millennial midlife crises over parent loss and childlessness hasn't yet begun (highly destabilizing) - majority-minority demographic flips haven't yet occurred

Robots that will replace general labor are more complex than autonomous car? (not the one that can fold clothes etc) Cars follow roads, other cars and obstacles. Yes that is also really hard tech but general labor work in 3D world with rules, restrictions, regulations.

Stripe is net good for the world. But remember, @stripe can close your account anytime they want and you have nothing to do. They can take your money with it. This is %100 opposite of what Bitcoin and Crypto trying to achieve. Same for @coinbase . So many past proof exist.
