Some news! After 17 years, we’re handing the baton over to new, younger(!) and enthusiastic owners of On the Edge, as retirement beckons for us.
William (Bill) and Charlotte (Charlie) now have the reins of the business and will be carrying on ‘business as usual’.
We're not sure when or why our tradition of having an extended Easter started, but it appears that it has to continue.
Happy Easter to all our customers.
If you've completed the London Marathon you'll want to remember it - and make sure your friends know it!
It's probably safe to say that Gareth is:
a) Welsh
b) Pleased!
Well done Gareth.
It's the annual cull. Which ones stay and which ones go (not to mention 'which ones are still stuck in customs somewhere!')?
Another year is done - and the results of our extensive shortbread survey are in. After the final blind tasting, the winner is . . . . . . Waitrose! (so long as you ignore the price!).
Season's greetings to all our customers. Thank you all so much. We'll see you next year.
We've been inundated with orders this week and will have to close our order book at the end of today.
We can accept just a few more 'simple' framing orders
We hate having to close our order book, but we have to leave ourselves enough time to make all the orders. Thanks.
It's Stagvent! Our discovery this year is that every shortcake tin must have a picture of Stag on it. Why?!
It seemed only right that we conduct a full quality control survey - which is well underway. We will report our findings - and our weight gain!
