This is the SAME PERSON you let sexualized on a national TV btw, @vicegandako!
donny never skips even a single beat!
as meme vice said, donny called her last night that he would donate 15k for each na maglalaro sa Showtime. so overall, 300, 000 ang ipinaabot nya— he is literally the saviour, a 911 and a voice for everyone 🥹🫶

We strongly condemn the sexualization of any individual. We express our disappointment over the recent issue involving Showtime Baby Doll’s Juby and Donny Pangilinan, particularly the sexualized nature of the public discussion surrounding him.
Being a public figure does not justify compromising one’s dignity and personal boundaries. We call for greater sensitivity and respect when discussing others.
We stand with Donny. Respect is non-negotiable.

imagine being well educated, politically inclined and respected only to be dragged publicly because of someone’s fantasies, nakaka baba ng moral.
i hate defending men against women, but it’s a different take when they forgot about boundaries.

i’m sorry but i can’t shake this off. the more i think about it, the weirder it gets. imagine being a female celebrity and finding out that a man went on national tv to talk about dreaming of having sex w you, getting into the details, being asked if he finished, and having the entire thing played for laughs. would we really be this casual about it? ano, kase it’s not that serious? kj ko naman? oa ko?
and before anyone says it was just a dream, obviously people don’t choose what they dream about. that’s not the point. having a dream and choosing to make its intimate details about a real person public entertainment are two separate things. the fact that it was treated as a funny little anecdote instead of something worth questioning is what makes it uncomfortable.
i’m not a prude, and i’m not particularly interested in defending men for the sake of defending men, but basic respect shouldn’t depend on someone’s gender. yuck. so disappointing.

We stand for respect and dignity. Donny Pangilinan is a human being, not an object for sexualization.
Let us be mindful of our words and remember that being a public figure does not justify crossing personal boundaries.

it's really fine to admire a celebrity, that's normal. but sexualizing him, proudly saying that you had s3x with him in your dreams, and making fun of it on national tv? that's not entertainment. what's the point???
and imagine, if the roles were reversed.

This highlights a broader problem: in the Philippines, sexualization is far too often treated as cheap entertainment and brushed off as "just a joke."
The entire team behind @GGV_Official enabling this conversation on national TV is deeply disappointing.

“i do nothing and i still get involved in stupid shit” -donny probably
this isn’t the first time donny was sexualized for clout. if a guy said this on national tv, it would be a different story. tigil nyo yan di kayo nakaka abante babae.

Disappointed din kay VG. Didn’t she call out Bong Suntay just earlier this year for sexualizing Anne? But yes, let’s just laugh it off when it’s Donny, who’s also her friend, because apparently, it’s okay when it’s a man.

a joke shouldn’t make others uncomfortable, whether it’s the person being talked about or people who aren’t even involved. sana naisip yan nung nagkwento at nung host. what added fuel to the fire was the supposed “friend” who chose to elaborate pa.
imagine if a man said that about a woman. what happened to your reaction to bong suntay’s comments about your girl friend, compared to your comments about donny now? dahil ba lalaki lang si donny kaya okay lang? may free pass? let’s walk the talk, no? why should the standard change simply because the speaker is a woman and the person being discussed is a man?
as a host and his friend, you should know the difference between playful banter and sexual objectification. you can acknowledge the dream and move on but you didn’t. tao pa rin naman yang pinag uusapan niyo. the lack of basic human decency, unnecessary sexual explicitness, and objectification are simply too much. 2026 na 😅
