Mast life thi. Sharing some examples :
1. Free fireworks in every Indian city - courtesy Pakistan
2. PM did press conferences - to share helplessness against growing Naxal violence
3. Lot of opportunities to talk to neighbours - no electricity thanks to consecutive power grid failures
4. No fight with Pak or China - coz we didn't have money for weapons, nor the political will to respond militarily.
5. Lot of time with family on the road - 200 KM distance used to take 6-7 hours by road as there were no expressways.
Enough or should I give more examples of how life was great before 2014.

In 2005 Government of India issued unchecked visas to 3000 Pakistanis to watch India vs Pakistan cricket series, one such visa was issued to Sajid Mir who later carried out 2008 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
In 2010 just two years after 26/11 Mumbai attacks Govt of India returned 25 Pakistan terrorists as a goodwill gesture to Pakistan, not a single Indian prisoner was returned in exchange by Pakistan. One of the terrorists released was shahid latif who was later designated as the main handler of Pathankot terror attack of 2016 in which our seven security personnel were killed.

jinnah won 100% of the seats in 1946 from Madras Presidency. While the support from Muslims was widespread across the board, the votes from the Urdu-speakibg Muslim community was much higher than the Tamil-speaking one.
And now Nazia wants Tamil Hindus to follow secularism by avoiding saffron and thiruneeru for Thiruvalluvar.
There is a section among Tamilnadu Muslims called Labbais, and a smaller section called Urdu-speaking Labbais. We are a mix of Urdu and Tamil-speaking people. Many of us have married into Tamil-speaking Muslim families over generations, and Tamil culture is very much a part of our lives.
Even though we speak Urdu, the Tamil culture we have grown up with is deeply imbibed in us.
So to all those doing theses and PhDs on my origin, get it straight..
