20 10 2020. Dear Nigerians, i write you from a time when awaken souls stood up to demand an end to impunity and evil. This day 6 years ago is pivotal as it reminds us of all our fallen comrades who stood amicably to say #ENDSARS. Comrades, citizens, compatriots and good men stepped out peacefully to Lekki toll gate with no knowledge that their unexpected murderers were going to be armed soldiers and law enforcement agents tasked with the duty to protect and defend their honor. It is crucial we keep this day indelible in our hearts and minds and It is even more important if their heartbreaking stories that paints a failure of a sitting government remains emboldened annually till their souls find peace. The present evil sitting in the summit of our government is far more akin to the past evil that left the stage of life mysteriously despite the mutiple accountability charges he is yet to be prosecuted for. The evil i so speak of is bad governance and a failed state. It was that evil that drove those fallen comrades we remember today into lekki, Lagos state, into the streets of Enugu, Abuja, Niger and so many states, all demanding the end to the rogue agency #SARS. As they fell from the hails of bullets and their lives exited their body, others fell from the brutality and many were mashed up into unlawful detention. Is that supposed to be the reward for a camaraderie of purpose towards voicing out evil? No. What we owe these fallen souls are our allegiance to the cause of ousting evil from this country. We must make sure that this present evil were accountability fails to exist and impunity thrives never again be given the power to lead us. My candle is lit and i have dried my eyes from the handkerchief in my back pocket were my PVC is not far from.
