Eight years na ang SB19, and some people will say, “Eight years na, pero hanggang dyan parin?” But in those eight years, they built their own company, created opportunities for new artists, held soldout concerts, world tours, produced concerts with worldclass production, released songs that touched hearts and inspired people, performed at international festivals, became Philippine tourism ambassadors, helped push for the proposed PACE Act to support Filipino creatives going global. And those are just a few of their many achievements. Eight years in, they’re not just building their own legacy. They’re helping build the future of Ppop. So before you mock the years they’ve spent in the industry or question what they’ve achieved, take a look at how far they’ve come and the impact they’ve made in those years. Because longevity without growth is one thing. But eight years of breaking barriers, making history, and opening doors for others? That’s a different story. And they’re not even done yet.
