Our second announcement was the partnership between 21st Century Technologies, @Galaxybackbone and @NCAIRNigeria to accelerate the development of Artificial Intelligence projects of national interest.
21st Century Technology is funding the acquisition of an initial set of GPUs to kickstart our national computing capacity. The compute which will available to local researchers, startups, govt entities working on critical AI projects, will reside at the GBB Data centre in the FCT. #NAIS

I was having a conversation with a client earlier today around SMPP for SMS delivery and it reminded me of early days of Nigeria’s Telco where we had to keep refreshing Binds just to keep it up 🤣
This is accurate. Failure as it were ought to be a 'lessons learnt' opportunity for other Founders.
If you’re building an actual company (I’m not talking about WhatsApp Groups), you will know that it’s a very steep journey and you won’t go around laughing and mocking people who failed

We waste failures by not learning anything. One of the projects I’d love to take on maybe when I make my full transition is to chat with founders who have failed in Africa. We’re not documenting failure appropriately in Africa. Little wonder we’ve not learnt anything. We just make noise, jestings, and have a good laugh
We need to start interacting intelligently with failure in Africa
