I still get chills every time I see footage of the 2011 Japan tsunami. The scariest part isn't the height of the waves, but how quickly the sea turns into a destruction machine. 😨 This is footage of the tsunami hitting Miyako, Japan, on March 11, 2011, after a magnitude 9.0 earthquake rocked the Tohoku region. Watch the water. Tsunamis don't always come like giant waves in movies. Sometimes they look like a massive flood that just keeps rising, flowing fiercely, and sweeping away anything in its path. I'm amazed there are still people who underestimate tsunamis just because the waves look small. Bro, it's not just the water height that kills—it's the current, the debris, and the sheer force of the moving mass of water. If there's a tsunami warning, don't wait to see the waves. Head straight for high ground.
