The Lobos just went toe-to-toe with one of the premier programs and defenses in the country. I know they’re not satisfied with the outcome nor the mistakes or missed opportunities. But, they proved they belonged on the same field.
And yes, they do have a lot to clean up, but a lot of good can come from these types of games.
I also think Fa’avae solidified himself as QB1; scheming a game plan around his skill set instead of a dual QB system might improve efficiency.
