This is historical revisionism. The Nazis banned, imprisoned, and murdered socialists and communists, purged their own anti-capitalist wing, allied with industrialists and conservatives, and launched a war of annihilation against the Soviet Union framed as a crusade against Bolshevism. State economic controls and private ownership under racial nationalism is not ‘left-wing socialism.’ Calling it that does not explain the 20th century and doing so erases the part where the Nazis treated the left as the enemy
