Long-- But worth the read if your building in IC- @ohshiilabs deserves a proper shoutout, and Ravenith deserves recognition for what he’s building for IC. I spent last night exploring the current OhShii UI on both mobile and desktop. I was seriously impressed. I had previously found the interface difficult to navigate, and I stand 100% corrected. If your opinion is based on an older version, spend some time with it again. What impressed me most is how much complicated functionality he’s making approachable. I’ve spent years deep in this ecosystem. I’ve watched what early dumping, concentrated supply, thin liquidity, bots and poorly designed launches can do to people. I’ve paid for plenty of those lessons myself. That’s why OhShii matters to me. Ravenith is building tools around problems our communities have actually lived through. Look at the scope of what he’s bringing together: • ICRC token creation — tools to deploy tokens and transaction indexes through the interface, giving builders a starting point for their own applications. • Independent project DAOs — a framework for communities to govern their own treasuries, liquidity and software upgrades. ONS governs OhShii itself; separate SONS DAOs serve individual projects. • More thoughtful launch mechanics — held campaign funds, a defined refund process if a launch fails, and mandatory vesting for creators and contributors. Larger creator allocations face a longer initial wait. • Token and liquidity locking — OHSHII token locks, supported OHSHII LP locks, and project-token locks within existing DAOs. Ways to make a commitment visible and participate in governance. • Governance designed to resist domination — voting power considers both locked tokens and lock duration, with identity checks and limits on individual influence intended to make capture harder. • Participation that counts — higher launch tiers require verification, eligible locks and active governance participation. There is a reason to keep showing up for the community. • Stronger checks on sensitive decisions — upgrades, treasury withdrawals and liquidity movements face stricter voting requirements, with a guardian veto the community can override. • Visibility into what’s happening — holder maps, transaction explorers and wallet analytics that help people examine token distribution and movement themselves. • Tools to keep projects operating — cycle monitoring and top-ups, ICPSwap integration, and a Menese-powered SOL/ICP gateway. New LGE and DAO-import creation are currently paused. That launch framework is part of the work I’m following, alongside the token, locking, governance and analytics tools already documented as available. Putting all of this within reach of a community that has never managed liquidity, set up governance or maintained canisters is serious work. Making the interface easier to understand makes that work far more useful. I’m an early OHSHII holder and supporter. I’ve added liquidity and sent builders Ravenith’s way because I trust the care he puts into this project. I’m now taking the time to understand the governance more deeply and explore token and LP locking myself. To me, OhShii stands on its own as one of the most important ICRC toolkits being built on IC. For communities trying to turn a token into a functioning project, this is the kind of lifeline I’ve wanted to see for years. Ravenith, you have my respect and my support.
