Prosecutors accused him of financing and orchestrating a 2022 attack targeting rapper Quando Rondo, which instead resulted in the death of Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. A major focus throughout the case was Durk’s high-powered defense team, particularly attorneys Brian Steel and Drew Findling. Steel became especially prominent during the trial after joining Durk’s legal team earlier this year. He is widely known for representing Young Thug during the lengthy YSL racketeering case and brought that high-profile courtroom experience to Durk’s defense.
