Because I am getting this question dozens of times in my DMs from trans people/parents... If you're trying to move for safety:
Countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, France.
States: Any blue state on my risk assessment map, which I'll update post-election.

As we all await the outcome of what feels like a make-or-break election, I want to offer some perspective, if you’ll hand a fellow with eight-plus decades the mic for a moment.

Nex Benedict should still be alive. Nex deserved not only a safe and nurturing environment to learn, but an environment that actively disrupted anti-2STGNC+ rhetoric and worked to ensure that vulnerable students were safe. Read more, here: freedomoklahoma.org/news/nex… – at Owasso, OK

1. Earlier this month, a mysterious woman appeared before a school board in Texas and claimed that, when she was 11, she READ A SCHOLASTIC BOOK THAT SPARKED A DEBILITATING PORN ADDICTION.
We investigated.
And it's ABSOLUTELY WILD what is happening.

A divide between (many) cis people and (many) trans people that cis folks may not realize is that trans people often actively avoid learning, and genuinely do not want to know, each other's deadnames.

1.8 million LGBTQ+ youth consider suicide each year and 1 attempts suicide every 45 seconds. Trans youth are 2.5x more likely to attempt suicide.
But having just one accepting adult reduces suicide for LGBTQ+ youth by 40%.
Trans kids will die because of this toxic garbage from @TGC. It is evil and we must clearly designate it as such.
It’s especially wicked to publish on the day before Thanksgiving when many trans youth will be with their families. This is anti-Christ.

Little known fact:
Although much has been written about America's PAST treatment of Black veterans, few people are aware that tens of thousands of Black people who served in the US Armed Forces are technically and legally excluded from Veterans Day.

Couple of phds at work were talking about how Sesame Street characters are not muppets. I have waited my entire life to "well actually..." on this topic. I may be a college dropout but this is most definitely my wheelhouse of knowledge.

The outdoors are for everyone.
"Well, yeah, of course," some might say.
But when you're someone grappling with feeling "different," when you don't feel safe to be completely yourself at home, at work, in your community - the outdoors provides refuge...
