Vote against this at the AGM.
Nationwide Building Society to hike CEO pay package by 43% to £7m.
Interest on savings down. Workers won't get 43% pay rise
No sector immune to fat-cattery.
Govt says wage rises are inflationary but silence on exec pay, dividends, share buybacks.

I've been directed to raise this with @Help_C2C

Driver illegality at Sanatorium Rod - Broad Street junction again today - it happens more often than not. How do we petition to get a camera installed? It's an active travel route to school and is dangerous. Diolch. cc @stephencunnah

I'd already forgotten quite how bad it was this morning ... I'd try reporting that brown MPV to @GoSafeCymru if I could get a licence.

Couple of son Andy's ex-@RygbiPlasmawr teammates in the squad - Sion and Osian (also ex @ClwbRygbiIau) .
Andy chose football at 16 due to rugby injuries affecting football availability. Pandemic didn't help, either!
Hope they both go well.
Overtaken by a driver on Pencisely Road this morning- me going the limit (20), BMW driver (obvs) going 40 or so. Hasn't happened for a while but I have hardly been driving. Any chance of some / more enforcement @GoSafeCymru @swpolice ?

When you have to share the road with homicidal lunatics driving lethal killing machines, they will cut you up or just drive straight over you without a second thought. And despite being in the wrong, they'll think you're the arsehole for being in their way.
Never trust a driver.

'Magdeburg Germany attack updates: Car hits crowds at Christmas market, leaving two dead and 68 injured - BBC News'
Car driven into crowd or driver hits crowd far better? Stop attaching agency to machines under human control @BBCNews
You think they've got with the programme ...
'after man drives car into Christmas market, killing five'
Then first line in summary: 'after a car drove into crowds'
🤷♂️@bbcnews !

A snapshot of how our justice system is failing road crash victims and their families:
Redi Muzhaki, 22, from Coventry:
- Caused grandmother Linda Boore's (pictured) death through his careless driving on the A46, hitting her car head-on
- Critically injured her husband, the passenger
- Had no driving licence or insurance
He must pay £187 as a victim surcharge, do 200 hours of community service and is banned from driving for 2 years (he doesn't even have a licence now). His three suspended sentences, running concurrently, mean he will avoid jail time.

Carbrain evident on @BBCBreakfast today
A driver losing control, breaking through a wall and ending up in a pool is not normal and shouldn’t receive such light attention. It should serve as a warning. The consequences could have been far more serious. 🧵
Back here from Bluesky briefly ...
Anybody able to recommend a Cardiff roofer?
Yes, our situation has worsened after last night. 😔
Why is it so difficult to get a quote from a tradesman? 2 visited 3 months ago with no quote forthcoming. I've chased them again too!

The sooner the obscene practices of companies like this are clamped down on / they are driven out of business the better.
But is primarily a failure of political regulation. They also shouldn't be run by private companies given their abject failure.
