We placed a pink spider on the back cover of Dalton Transactions! doi.org/10.1039/D1DT90104D It shows how MLD can be used to color complex surfaces by using large aromatic molecules. In this case, quinizarin. For the paper itself: doi.org/10.1039/D1DT00683E (the spider was self-dead)

Happy Pride! All MLD films from UiO excited by UVC. Thanks to Per-Anders Hansen for making all the films!

Just got our colorful paper on highly aromatic MLD films published: pubs.rsc.org/en/content/arti… Thanks to Per-Anders Hansen for all the colorful work! (There is a rumor out of an 8-legged discomonster to come... but more on that later)

Rather proud of our latest work showing the benefits of embedding organic absorbers in an inorganic matrix while controlling how the excited state is transferred to the emitter. To me, this shows the real importance of ALD. Doubt these structures can be made in any other way.
.@olnilsen and colleagues use atomic layer deposition to obtain a molecule-doped crystalline multilayer film structure, combining the broad absorption from an aromatic molecule with the high emission yields of lanthanide fluorides. go.nature.com/35cskrQ

Fikk dette tipset som e-post... og ble uvel... Som far hadde jeg ikke likt at ungene hadde brukt masse penger på en farsdag. Nei, blir heller glad for, tegning, kort, boller, eller frokost. Det er de små tingene som er store!
That feeling: Testing a new precursor and only a selection of the substrates are coated, regardless of position.... -> area selective growth! Area-selective atomic layer deposition of molybdenum oxide avs-scitation-org.ezproxy.ui…

Thin film iron phosphates are rather good high rate cathodes. Now, we have explored more of the Fe-PO4 range to include amorphous "Fe4(P2O7)3": High power iron phosphate cathodes by atomic layer deposition sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
