AI is inherently untrustworthy, and the industry should focus on solving this problem, not trying to find the ‘Goldilocks’ pace of AI development that buys enough time to implement compliance-based approaches that will only ever be partial solutions.
The call to action is also the public launch of Trust Tech Ventures - @trusttechvc. Our aim is to provide pre-seed funding to commercialise promising trust tech emerging from universities and research labs.
