20 DAYS TO GO! ⏳
The excitement is building, the athletes are ready, and the ice is calling! 🛷💨
Who else is ready for some IBSF World Cup action?
#IBSF #SlideToShine #bobsleigh #skeleton
Okay so as nations are holding their qualifiers right now, anyone with insights, I'm keen to learn how the teams fair. #bobsleigh #skeleton
Grad was neues nerviges von der @NZZ gelernt. Ich bin in NYC und kann den Content ohne Probleme konsumieren. Mein Abo-Verwalten aber nicht, weil meine US IP-Adresse ist ganz ganz böse!!!1!
Replying to @AtticusJazz
Hopp Schwiiz 🇨🇭
Mike Smits und Anja Gähwiler tragen die Schweizer Fahne an der Eröffnungsfeier der YOG Dakar 2026! Im Stade Abdoulaye Wade in Diamniadio werden sie das Swiss Olympic Youth Team als Fahnenträger*innen anführen. 👏

Am Donnerstag, 24. September 2026, wurde im Kreis 4 eine Fussgängerin von einem Auto angefahren und verletzt. Der Fahrzeuglenker verliess danach die Örtlichkeit. Wer hat etwas gesehen? 📞0 444 117 117. Mehr Infos hier: stadt-zuerich.ch/de/aktuell/…
Never ever have I managed to move my @signalapp to a new device without a hassle. Maybe I'm just dumb, but @ThreemaApp never gives me the same headache.
UK you deserve better
It rained....
And as predicted on @LBC with @HenryRiley1 not 48 hours ago.
Anything in brown is sewage being dumping into the environment right now, in real time, anything in red is sewage dumped over the last 24 hours.
Hey @swissportNews you are terrible. I waited longer to learn that my luggage didn'take ot to ZRH than my connecting flight. The frustrating bit is your bad communication via the screen.
What I like about this training is that it takes time over multiple weeks. It gives you time to revisit material, test few things, toy around, and do the exercises.
Today is the first day of my online advanced Python workshop! Not going to lie - I'm super excited about this one! While I do enjoy giving lectures and doing workshops in general, there is an additional fun aspect if the topic is close to my heart - and this one is.
Anyway, today I'll be covering the life of a Python program, starting with the compilation phase, through the "assembly"/bytecode phase, to the virtual machine and low-level function being executed. The goal of this is to serve as an overview of what's actually going on when you run a script, and also to show folks where (and how) to look to find the details. And details are important, since, well, the devil is in the details.
After the overview I plan to focus a bit more on the Abstract Syntax Tree part, since that's a really powerful form to use in various tools. And the fact that cPython has wonderful first party support for it, makes this even better. It can be used both for scanning, obfuscation/deobfuscation, as well as some other stuff like more proper sandboxing, though that last bit is going to be covered on another session.
I'm playing with the idea to end each session with a few things about (c)Python that surprise programmers (instead of dedicating a full session for this), but we'll see how this goes timewise.
Exciting!

I have been scammed by an attraction provider booked via @bookingcom and am extremely disappointed how Booking handles this situation. I essentially paid 400€ for a taxi ride, because that's the only service rendered according to the booking. My trust in Booking took a hit.
