Has AI resulted in MORE screentime for you or LESS?
I feel like the original thesis would be less b/c agents would handle work for you but now I feel like it's resulted in way way more
Got to see @erikschutzler in NYC for a walk & talk. Absolutely crushing it on all ends.
Things I learned:
1. So much talent in big tech but also lots of fear to leave a stable salary + comp structure
2. Talent is everywhere in SF, high density of YOUNG founders
3. The marketplace space has yet to reach its early innings of innovation!
What's your favorite interview question to ask candidates when hiring?
Favorite one to be asked as well?!

We’ve spent a lot of time making the product experience seamless for GTM folks!
30 seconds of typing can now turn into 100 hours of GTM work.
Introducing Polar for GTM.
Give Polar your ICP and tell it what needs to get done.
It can find accounts, research companies, find decision makers, enrich leads, update sheets, check replies and prep follow-ups.
Then save the workflow and run it again. 👇

how you get connected to an investor has a HUGE impact in whether you convert them to an offer
here's the top 10 highest signal intro's:
1. your customer that knows the investor
2. a well respected founder who the investor wishes they could've invested in
2. your founder friend who that investors has invested in
3. your angel
4. an advisor who is an industry expert
5. a founder friend who knows the investor - they've spent real time together: attended same dinner, pitched and had more than one convo, went to school with investor, etc
6. your preseed/seed investor
7. a scout for that fund (and ideally falls in one of the categories above)
8. an LP in that investors fund
9. someone you've worked with before that knows the investor
10 a non founder mutual friend
intro paths that are low signal:
- via a vendor (lawyer, cloud provider, bank, etc)
- via an investor who has already passed on the round
- a journalist

This is Sam Altman at 25 years old, pitching Loopt to a person in a diner
It’s strange to watch now because he runs one of the most influential companies in the world
The app was a location-sharing app but nobody thinks about it when they think of Sam
It got me wondering how many founders are probably in their Loopt era rn?
The company they’re working on may not be the one they become known for
It might just be the company that teaches them how to sell, hire, raise money, and keep going long enough to find "it"
But at the time, it looks like a kid trying to explain a weird location app to a stranger over lunch
My favorite @polarbrowser workflow = teach me something new about AI, robotics, deep tech, etc. daily via text. It sends me a 4-6 sentence lesson (non-technical, very easy to read) daily at 7 am.
I now have 17 friends receiving these lessons daily. Lmk if you want to join it! Easy to read and effective way to learn for sure.
Major props to @katiekirsch on the SF Tech Jewish community she’s building. We need more of this here in NYC!
Scrolled on X for 5 minutes in between meetings. No joke 7 different AI assistants popped up on my feed. Crazy

Introducing Moe: the stock market for your stuff
Selling used to mean picking one marketplace and hoping — @eBay, @depop, @facebook, @stockx — each with different buyers and different prices. No one saw the whole market. You just guessed.
Moe is the home that connects all marketplaces, so every item has one real, live price.
How it works:
1.Scan any item
2.Moe identifies it — make, model, specs
3.See its real-time value across every marketplace, like a stock ticker
4.Sell it everywhere at once — Moe does all the work for you. seriously… all of it
@themoeapp is opening an invite-code public beta today (link in the comments)
