Hot take(?), this is good, actually. There's a value to squadding with people, pick loadouts to deal with content, make team comps, assign roles, etc. Raids weren't good because of the challenge of the mission, they were good because of the community we built around them.

I cannot think of a time in Steam history where buying ANY game automatically installed even the game itself, much less a game currently in a player count slump by the same developers.

We've resolved an issue where Destiny 2 would begin installing after pre-ordering Marathon on Steam. We have also resolved an issue where Collector's Edition owners would receive an error when attempting to activate their game code on Steam.
