After a rubbish week of job application rejections - made me more determined to strive to become a professional photographer in the #lakedistrict here are some views of St Bees Sunset last night - which was a great pick me up @BBC_Cumbria @FriendsofLakes @lakedistrictnpa

Amazing photography 😊
After a very challenging and testing few days in the @peakdistrict I was able to spend some wonderful moments with the Mountain Hares that live in this region. Once the snow storm had passed the sun came out and it was beautiful. @B_Strawbridge @StephenMoss_TV @HPT_Official

Storm Burt wasn’t going to rain on this parade… A fantastic turn out for the light switch on and tractor run, the sight and noise of 80 plus tractors is a sight to behold…. #christmastractorrun #tractorrun @PennineYfc

Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine the Northern Lights would make an appearance above our chimney pot. We missed the big finale as it was way past our bedtime and darn 🥶 in our pyjamas but let’s give a shout out to the moon though, it did its best not to be outdone…

There really is know where like it, with spectacular views and the echo of stags rutting we had to remind ourselves it wasn’t Jurassic Park but Wild Haweswater…

Exploring the footpaths and fells on our doorstep is always magical but it really comes into its own in the Autumn 🍂 especially when you come back to a roaring fire. Photographs really don’t do it justice so why not come and see it for yourselves…
