Very inspiring, thanks @orbuch!
I wrote an essay about why the next frontier for AI is the world outside the data center Nature is a system more complex than anything we've ever created AI can learn how the system fits together, so we can finally understand how to shape it How? naturalgeneralintelligence.a…

sun is out over canary wharf and all is forgiven. the £9 commute. the £8 pints. the £2,500 rent for a one bed in zone 2. none of it matters today. london has you in a chokehold the second the sky turns blue.

I first saw Charm’s facilities in 2021 so it’s awesome to see these credits go live. Charm is known as a leader in deliveries but they should also credit for being a first mover in working through what operationalising rigorous verification in their removal process looks like.
Carbon removal used to be verified by Stripe FaceTiming with the injection well operator 😂 now going forward it’s third party verified by a company @Isometric_HQ that gets paid whether they give us a ❌or a ✅. It’s a structural incentive shift that’s critical to fix the voluntary carbon markets.

1/Isometric issued 107.21 carbon dioxide removal credits from @CharmIndustrial to @jpmorgan, @Shopify and @stripe. These are the first verified credits for Charm and, like all Isometric credits, they have scientifically rigorous monitoring, reporting + verification at their core.

I'm hiring someone to join the partnerships team @Isometric_HQ. You'll dive into the science of different CDR pathways, work directly with suppliers, and help us figure out the best ways of building trust in an industry that is still just starting.

@jwilceclab’s work was some of the first I came across as I got into carbon removal and her passion for CDR was very influential on me and I’ve seen firsthand how @stacykauk has been one of the most catalytic people in the whole ecosystem, incredibly excited to now work with them
1/ Isometric today announced the addition of two luminaries in the carbon dioxide removal (CDR) industry to our Science Leadership Team. Dr. Jennifer Wilcox @jwilceclab is joining as Chief Scientist and Stacy Kauk @stacykauk is joining as Head of Science.

Today, first time in Polish TV, after 8 years of right-wing government, the LGBT+ activists appeared in live broadcast. I was seating there and heard journalist shaking voice. He made an apology after years of portraying LGBT-people a threat to Polish nation in the same studio. I was moved.. Apology an important part of reconciliation. This is Poland I want to fight for... Thank you...
