two reasons why i have been hand rolling everything: 1. i knew supply chain attacks eas coming and would get worse and worse. this is the 3rd security issue post on my top 3 posts 2. because i can, and you can, and everybody can.
🚨 LiteLLM, a Python package for connecting to AI model providers with 92M+ monthly downloads, has been compromised. Version 1.107.0 ships credential-stealing malware through PyPI wheels and Docker images, targeting cloud credentials, developer secrets, and AI tools.

i’m proud to announce that @inference_sh is sponsoring a hybrid filmmaking event in Berlin, bringing together filmmakers, AI creators, and creative technologists to explore what becomes possible when traditional filmmaking meets generative AI. filmhack.ai people sometimes get confused about what I do. i’ve been building an AI infrastructure company, and you might wonder what that has to do with films. the connection is simple: AI turns ideas into media. we can describe what we imagine and turn those words into images, sounds, and videos. few mediums bring ideas and emotions to life as powerfully as film. yet filmmaking has always been limited by time and budget, even when imagination knows no bounds. despite the debates around AI, what excites me is the possibility of anyone creating feature-length films with extraordinary visual effects, right from their couch. the camera will always have a special place in filmmaking for me. that’s why I particularly appreciate this event’s hybrid approach, combining traditional techniques with AI. i’ll be there in person with friends from @letz_ai , and I can’t wait to see what people create. drop me a line if you’d like to join, and see you in Berlin soon!

want to be a part something crazy before most people? check this out and ask me questions
Founders, you’re going to build your generational company with or without us. Build it with people as obsessed with creating your legacy as we are. If you know a founder who belongs here, send them this link before 30 November: ewor.com/apply?sc=NL&ssc=Oct… View article

if you strip an agentharness down to its very last line of code, replace every dependency, and rebuild the agent piece by piece until no original component remains is it still the same agent that first ran, or has it become something entirely new?

they will create the disease and sell you the cure.
they've been non stop trying to attack our systems for the past 48 hours a side effect is everything is getting hardened but damn we basically need agents going 24/7 because that's what they have

while doing some research today i came across these two tweets. they are about 2 days apart and neither names the other. however if you dig into the code you will notice that SPACE only has sdk wrappers for exactly ONE of the alternatives they are mentioning and its @e2b . it is very interesting that @perplexity_ai not just (i assume) ripped off a provider and replaced them with a copy of it, they also released it open source, which kind of attacks them. we will see more of this, companies sending a swarm of agents to rip out external dependencies. monetisation models will change because most enterprise sales rely on hooking in the customer and slowly boiling the water (increasing the prices) as they become unable to walk away. good luck navigating this landscape from either side!

The only benchmark you should definitely trust, and probably use, before moving your most critical production traffic to a decision model: JevMan Because at the end of the day, what you really need to know is, can jev beat me at Pac-Man? The answer is maybe: opper.ai/jevman-benchmark
Happy JevDay! But before announcements we have to talk philosophy… The needs of early adopters / tinkerers / dreamers are quite different from what is needed for extremely stable infrastructure. For the Jev release, we erred on the latter, but this release is for the former - with a gate so people can opt-in to the danger zone!

The stakes were high for the founders pitching at today's EWOR Grand Pitch, and they 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁! All 11 left with packed calendars. We kept this Grand Pitch more exclusive than ever, and yet hundreds of investors showed up. Thank you to all partners and angels for coming! Not everyone gets a room like this. We went through 40,000 applications to find the ones who deserve to be there. Congratulations to the presenting fellows: 001 Simon Jakobs (Melious AI) 002 @wikistanislawek (Reactive AI) 003 @mc_liamm (@matrixbiotech) 004 @Ben_Woollams (TrueRights) 005 Ilaria Incaviglia (Vale Biolabs) 006 @ronanvaz21 (Parametric) 007 Nader Soliman (Oblex) 008 Adrian Rhaese (ENVIOTECH) 009 @vysotskiygeorge (@gracia_hq) 010 Leonardo Benini (Helmit) 011 Oleg Ruchayskiy (Tacent Labs) Know a founder who belongs on this stage next? Send them our way.

there is a fierce race to build actually-useful, actually-autonomous, actually-scalable agents. some people think it's already solved, but anyone trying to automate everything knows what's missing and what i'm talking about. taking part in this race and building products and solutions has been the most exciting thing i've done in my (work) life. the big labs obviously have an edge, but if you use them, they will use you and throw you away once they've fully milked you. the solution must be open, democratic and ownable.

are you working on a crazy project over the weekend and need a jev with eyes. i've got you. here's some free vision jev. are you in eu? no worries, the entire stack runs within the eu!
autotrust/jev-27b-vl is now live! free to use until the end of October (limited with capacity) it can make instant decisions on multiple questions in parallel and can evaluate images. it's currently #2 on the @huggingface jev index for vision decision models.

We read more than 40,000 applications a year to find true outliers. Tomorrow, 11 of them will present at the EWOR Grand Pitch. Here's a preview of a few that made it: 001 The 20-year-old neuroscience researcher mentored by a Nobel laureate who’s now enabling multi-hormone testing at home. He signed $10M in LOIs in 30 days. 002 The repeat founders who exited a fintech with $12M ARR and 3.5M monthly users in 2 years, now turning 4-8 camera feeds into interactive, 4D scenes. They won Meta as a client against its own internal team and closed $1M ARR in half a year. 003 The founder who reached 180,000 users with his platform before turning 18, now building AI that remembers a conversation instead of rereading it, at 25x lower cost. He pitched the guy who invented AI reasoning at OpenAI, who personally invested right away. The Snowflake founder and a 5x unicorn founder followed shortly after. 004 The founder who built a business with 40,000 customers at 17 to support his family in Cairo while finishing his A-levels 2nd best in the entire Middle East. Now automating external audits, cutting testing time by up to 70% and increasing evidence coverage 100x. A Big Four pilot is secured. 005 The founder who built AI used by over 60% of German hospitals, now building the sovereign European infrastructure to run it. €2M ARR five months after launch. 006 The physicist who co-discovered one of the most debated dark-matter signals of the last decade, and a mathematician with a €25M-revenue exit. Together, they’re now verifying AI-generated science, and have already found errors in CERN simulation code. 17:30 Berlin/8:30 SF. Invite-only. Partners and superangels only. If you’re a fit but we haven’t met you yet, comment below.
