Assemblies this week focus on Anti-Bullying Week. A reminder to come together and reach out to STOP bullying. In Y3/4 today, we reminded each other of the STOP message: Several Times On Purpose and agreed to 'reach out' and Start Telling Other People.

As part of Anti-Bullying Week next week, children and staff are invited to wear odd socks on Monday 14th November. #whatmakesusallunique

We had two beautiful Remembrance assemblies this week. Our Y6 children shared powerful words with great poise and consideration. At 11am today the whole school respectfully observed a minutes silence. We shall remember them.🌹

Monday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. Children are invited to come to school on 10th dressed in YELLOW to stand out and show that how they feel matters. We invite all our families to join us in wearing yellow for the day! 💛 #helloyellow @OverdaleInfant

October is Black History Month - Today, OJS launched our celebration of this. Each class has been gifted a book and will study an inspirational black person from this. At the end of the month, all classes will present their work in an assembly. ✨️
