If you're building on @arbitrum, you now have two new levers: Priority Gas Auctions for earlier execution, Fast Feed for faster access to ordered data. Perp DEXes, pAMMs, aggregators, market makers, this feature upgrade is for you. The end result should be faster apps on Arbitrum, and blockspace revenue that is generated by the forms of activity we see on Arbitrum flowing directly to the Arbitrum treasury. A major milestone day.
Arbitrum just got faster. Introducing Priority Gas Auctions (PGA) and Fast Feed, now live.

No downtime was experienced. What鈥檚 the concern?
Robinhood Chain experienced no downtime. Earlier today, Robinhood Chain experienced batch posting delays due to L1 market blob behavior. Direct user transactions experienced no delays. Some infrastructure providers that rely on Robinhood Chain鈥檚 data stream experienced a brief performance impact due to a high number of feed subscribers. Robinhood Chain remains operational.

NEW: Arbitrum confirms Robinhood Chain never experienced downtime. The headlines going around this morning were not nuanced as the tech is very complex at a lower level. I am extremely impressed by Arbitrum here and the market always has known that they excel at threading the needle for best performance and maximum censorship resistance & openness. Massive growth trajectory for them if they can keep opening up distribution. Rollup haters in shambles

This is the right take. Whether you are an L1 or an L2 and your customers have the ability to internalize a $100m business opportunity, it is incredibly challenging to offer a value proposition that will allow them to forego that. Arbitrum's platform strategy is to try and provide maximum value throughout the lifecycle of the journey. Whether you are an early stage DeFi protocol or the world's largest fintech organization, Arbitrum is the best place to build. The thing that (I think) we got right, is ensuring that we maintain economics throughout that journey. The next focus for us is to bring more products to market to support our customers in coming onchain faster. A LOT more on that soon.

. @arbitrum takes 10% of fees from RH Chain This chart looks like Arbitrum ceeded market share, but if they can power get 5-10 whales like RH and not get squeezed on economics over time it's a much bigger business than operating in their prior model (though they still have and emphasize the Arbitrum mainnet, and it's a great launchpad for companies achieving distribuiton prior to launching their own chain)

We're now Offchain. A new chapter focused on powering institutions as they move onchain. What we鈥檝e built across @arbitrum, @prylabs and @zerodev is coming together into something bigger. This is just the first step. Stay tuned. offchain.io/

"Can I pay you in crypto?" "Sure, let me send you some Arc USDC" "My wallet only works on Stripe L1" "No problem, bridge the Arc USDC to Ethereum then swap it for Stripe USD and bridge again" "Can I just pay with my bank?" "Of course! Just buy some XRP to access the interbank..."

7/17 Your goal isn't to "become an expert" It's to form a "strong opinion; loosely held" Become confident in the parts you know, but also aware of what you don't know, and willing to change that perspective when introduced to new information.
