Don’t become so poor that money is the only thing you have.
You can spend so much of your life trying to make more of it, keep more of it, or make sure you never lose any of it, that you don’t notice what else you’re losing along the way.
And some of those things won’t be waiting for you to buy them back when you finally have enough.

So true.
Indians have a very strong community in the UK too. What they do is that their community join money together to help bring more indians to the UK. When they arrive, they share apartment. They could be like 10 in that apartment but they dont care. If you want to do mortgage, they pull money together to raise the deposit for you. They do same with school fees. They share all the updates with each other and employ each other.
For Nigerians, a Nigerian will even advise you not to employ or do business with Nigerians, that you limit it to party or flexing. There is trust deficit among us and that is because your fellow Nigerians go abroad looking to scam you instead of building relationship. We collect money from people for things that are even free just because those people are new and don't understand the system yet, instead of helping them settle in. We are largely not good people. It is a value system problem. We have a comparative complex. We want to look better than others. We judge each other by jobs, by visa status, school we attend, location we reside and even type of house we live in. We are not normal people.
A woman wanting to be a wife or mother doesn’t mean she can’t see herself as anything else.
There’s a difference between finding fulfilment in a role and believing that role is all you are.

I listened to the full conversation. She’s saying she’d happily stay home and raise her children if her husband could comfortably provide for the family.
That’s a personal preference, not an argument that other women should stop working.
You can disagree with her choice without making it wrong for her to want it.

What if the survival of our planet depends on you and the choices you make today?
Wouldn’t you rather have it saved?
~Plant the tree.

~Hold leaders accountable.
Yes, you may not be able to change the world alone, but you can refuse to be part of what destroys it.
The planet doesn’t need a few perfect people. It needs millions of people willing to do better.

I’ve experienced something similar.
Some people can become so confident in how much you love them that they start believing there’s nothing they could do to make you leave.
Until they cross a line you simply can’t overlook.

So a low value man sacrifice everything for you to have a better life and you think there won't be consequences for your action even if karma ain't real actions have consequences

"The Eyes of Ghana” 🇬🇭 follows Ghanaian cinematographer Chris Hesse, who, as his eyesight declines, races against time to rescue more than 1,000 films documenting Africa’s fight for independence in the 1950s and ’60s. The footage, which captures a defining era in Ghanaian and African history, was preserved after the 1966 coup that overthrew Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president and a leading figure in the African liberation movement.
Now, streaming superstar IShowSpeed (Darren Jason Watkins Jr.) also known by his Ghanaian name, Barima Kofi Akuffo, has partnered with Breakwater Studios and Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground to bring Ben Proudfoot’s documentary “The Eyes of Ghana” to cinemas across the United States and Canada for a one-night-only screening on October 28, 2026.
The film is produced by Proudfoot, Nana Adwoa Frimpong, Moses Bwayo, Anita Afonu, Brandon Somerhalder, Ethan Lewis and Vinnie Malhotra.
If you’ve been on X long enough, you’ll notice how often the same old videos come back around and go viral all over again.

Once you clock that women can be inherently evil you'd stop seeing them as innocent harmless little angels
Your kidneys don’t send warning signs until it’s often too late.
They filter your blood, balance fluids, control blood pressure, and keep you going, all while you live your life. Most people with kidney disease feel completely fine until the damage is already advanced. About 9 in 10 don’t even know they have it.
You can change that with a few consistent habits:
• Get tested early — A simple blood test (eGFR) and urine test (uACR) can catch problems long before symptoms appear. Especially important if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or a family history.
• Protect your blood pressure and blood sugar — These two are the biggest drivers of kidney damage. Keep them in check and you protect more than just your kidneys.
• Ease up on salt — Less processed food and less added salt reduces strain on your kidneys and heart.
• Move your body regularly — Activity helps control the very things that hurt kidneys most.
• Drink water, not excess sugar — Stay hydrated the simple way.
• Use pain relievers wisely — Frequent or long-term NSAIDs can quietly stress your kidneys.
• Skip smoking and aim for a healthy weight — Both make a real difference over time.
Early action is the difference between managing your health and facing dialysis or a transplant later.
Know your risks. Know your numbers. Protect your kidneys while you still can.

You know what's interesting?
We spend years trying to become financially comfortable enough to enjoy life.
Then sometimes, when the money starts coming, we become too busy to enjoy anything.
Don't build a life that requires you to be permanently absent from it.

You are not too young to start preparing for a healthier old age. High blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis and other health conditions become more common as we grow older, but some risks can be reduced by the choices we make today.
Eat well, stay active, get enough sleep, check your blood pressure and blood sugar, and go for regular medical check-ups. Please, don’t wait until you are old before you start taking your health seriously. The older person you will become needs you to start now.
