By substituting an artificial social performance (gender) for an unalterable biological reality (sex), gender theory has achieved a bizarre outcome: it defends patriarchal stereotypes as if they are innate identities, dismisses the oppression of women as secondary to men who are oppressed by other men for imitating women, and labels feminism as "exclusionary" for prioritizing female people.

How I wish the New York Times would answer these perfectly reasonable questions. Instead, they regularly censor my comments pointing out that men are not women.
To tackle violence against women and girls, you first have to know what a woman and a girl are.
The BBC has spent years supplanting biological reality with gender ideology. So here is an opportunity to redress the balance and ask the questions many people want answered.
Try these:
- What is a woman?
- Can a human male become biologically female - yes or no?
- If ‘yes’, describe how exactly?
- Is being a woman a matter of biological sex, or gender identity?
- If ‘gender identity’, can you describe what this means without resorting to sexist stereotyping?
- If a male person identifies as a woman, what exactly has changed that makes that person a woman?
- When sex and gender identity conflict, which should determine who is legally treated as a woman?
- What should safeguarding rules be based on: statistical indicators of predatory behaviour linked to biological realities, or ‘feels’?
There are many more questions. But the bottom line is this: if you’re speaking to a man about how to protect women and girls, and that man believes any other man can become a woman simply by declaring it - and can therefore demand access to spaces intended to keep women and girls safe - then the entire discussion becomes an offensive mockery of the serious subject it is supposed to be addressing.
Be brave. Ask the questions.

It is not possible to have protections based on sex, if anyone can identify into those protections regardless of sex.
So, either sex trumps gender, or gender trumps sex. The question is which is safer for women, and which do you support?
