Coming up, Dash and Noah were always undersized. I knew early on that camps and clinics weren’t going to be the thing for them. Hype videos weren’t it either. They needed substance. They needed grit. So we focused on the work. Showing up every day. Practice. Scout team. Weight room. Being leaders. Being great teammates. Being a great human on campus. But when it was time to play, needed to be dawgs. Relentless, Physical, Competitive, But humble. Respectful, Never bigger than the team. What they couldn’t see in stature they could feel in their presence. In a world obsessed with the eye test, we wanted people to see the heart, the discipline, the consistency. To see who they really were when nobody was watching. God did the rest. To the parents whose stories sound like ours. Undersized and undervalued, Don’t chase hype. Don’t chase validation, Chase substance over spotlight. Character over clicks. Work over noise. It always shows up eventually. Gods story, Gods glory 🥤🥤🥤🥤🥤
