Strata's file operations just got a major efficiency upgrade. Moves, copies and renames are now faster and smarter across network shares, USB sticks, NTFS drives and more, with Strata adapting to each filesystem to do the least work possible. Much faster on slow drives. In our tests, copying 2,000 small files to a FAT USB stick took 26s instead of 208s, and an sshfs share took 2–12s instead of ~100s. Far less wear on USB drives. A 300-file move to an exFAT or NTFS stick went from ~300 device flushes to just 2. Parallel moves. Moving lots of files to another disk now runs up to 8 at a time. Tested across 14 filesystems: ext4, btrfs, XFS, NFS, SMB, sshfs, FAT, exFAT, NTFS and more. Over 400 commits with more to come in the next releases to keep improving. Good morning Strata and Omarchy users, since our 1.0 release we have seen some reports with Debian thumbs/previews, troubleshooting that we found it also affected Arch to a lesser extent, the issue is fixed and everyone benefits:

It turns out that I was right, the only keybindings for vim that I needed to learn were i, esc, enter, and :wq! which I don't even touch anymore, I just ask an agent to change stuff
