I believe in American exceptionalism. The founding ideals of the USA are worth lifting up and aspiring to, regardless if we ever truly achieve them.
We can claim the ideals and constantly work to reach them.
Where we fall short should not be the focus.

Watching Bill Maher explain how bad the modern Democratic Party has become to Democrats who refuse to acknowledge it has become my favorite show on television

I am 69. My first election was in 1980 (Ronald Reagan) and I have always voted Republican.
I always thought the Repubicans were the good guys. After watching John Thune and his gang of Globalist Establishment RINOs for the past 2 yrs - I can tell you that the Republican Senators are NOT the good guys.
But I do recommend that we all vote Republican again in 2026. Because the Democrats have become even worse.
We will have 2yrs to make sure that real America First patriots are on the ballot in 2028 - but for now, the lesser of 2 evils is probably the right choice.

“When Ronald Reagan was winning elections, pundits described his supporters as a silent majority; today, what we have may be something closer to a silenced majority, as conservatives hide their identities to avoid conflict.”

In the last 3 days Talarico has given interviews with every news outlet in the country, gone on Jimmy Kimmel, brought in Beto O’Rourke, reversed himself on several progressive positions, and invented a bunch of fake Republican supporters.
This is panic mode.

This was pretty obvious. But also a real sign of desperation from Talarico. He’s getting no buzz.

In the Ellis Island period, one of the very few things that could get an immigrant sent back was admitting to being an anarchist. Because it’s obviously crazy to let people into your country who want to destroy it.
"The idea that protecting provocative speech by visitors and immigrants renders the Constitution a “suicide pact” might be one of the most absurd examples of snowflakery I’ve ever seen in my life.
Millions of Americans share the views that thousands of student immigrants have expressed, and when you view those ideas as dangerous enough for deportation, we are foolish to believe — just as Jefferson warned — that only immigrants will face the administration’s wrath." nytimes.com/2026/09/03/opini…

The Carousel of Progress starting from 1960s is a mistake IMO. Most of the real "progress" was prior to this time. I personally would've done 1900, 1950, 2000, Present Day.

But here's the thing: this isn't possible. Frontierland doesn't just represent a physical location, it represents a time period. A time period that's 50 years before cars even existed.

Imagine what would happen if instead of the news telling you the polls have already decided who most of you voted for, we just told the story? Where the candidates stand, what the individual ordinary person thinks? I’m gonna do that.

If you’re robbing a bodega, it’s ok because you need money.

Beneath its veneer of kindness, empathy, and intellectualism, 'progressivism' is essentially a death cult.
It cuts down entire populations and snuffs out civilisations. But it does so with a smile.
