We are working on OffShield AI (@offshield_ai ), a security tool aimed at helping teams (especially in regulated environments like financial institutions) find vulnerabilities in their code without sending source code outside their environment.
What the core engine does today
Right now the First MVP is a local, on premises scanner.
You upload a file or a zip of your code, and it runs a set of detection rules against it. In the current version it can already flag things like:
Hardcoded secrets and API keys
Weak cryptographic functions (e.g. MD5)
Potential SQL injection patterns
Simple IDOR-style patterns where client-supplied IDs are used directly
Everything runs locally.
The code never leaves the machine, this is intentional many organisations (especially banks) cannot send source code to a third-party SaaS scanner.
About the UI
The interface you see is temporary. It’s a clean, functional web UI so we can test the engine and the workflow. The design and user experience will be improved later. At this stage the focus is on the core scanning engine and the infrastructure that keeps everything local and private.

Right now, if Ollama isn’t running, the app still shows the vulnerability and clearly states that AI remediation is unavailable. Once Ollama is set up (ollama pull llama3.2), it will start giving practical fix suggestions in real time.
Why this approach
A lot of security tools either:
Require sending code to the cloud, or
Produce too much noise
The goal with OffShield AI is accurate detection + clear remediation, while keeping the option to run fully on-premises. This first version is the foundation of that engine.
Still early, but the core scanning path is working. Next steps are expanding the rules, tightening the AI remediation, and improving the interface.

A SaaS tool that will be used privately in organizations to audit their codes and perform SAST in real time without having to have the fear of their vulnerability being leaked out to the public especially for the Financial Sectors, while having access to their own code base and not directly linked to any third party application or whatsoever, so this way there wont be any form of data breach or data loss directly to the public as everything being checked remain in their environment as they own it.

Gabriel Odusanya is a 21 year old cybersecurity professional. Founder of OffShield Security (@offshield_ai ) . Application security engineer. Educator. The work is offensive-driven application and product security, and training people who are just getting into the field.
He has trained over 300 students on how to actually start in cybersecurity. He trained the 20 students who recently graduated from the fully funded scholarship at TechAccess Foundation(@Techaccessfound ) .
He is the cybersecurity facilitator at Grazac Academy (@grazacng ) and also owns a YouTube channel focused on application security for beginners. He has worked inside organizations as a security engineer and as CTO, securing their infrastructure, not writing theory.
At API Shield Summit 1.0 he won the cybersecurity quiz and the hackathon. That gave him three API security vouchers: ACP, CASA, and ASCP. He is CASA and ACP certified. He is waiting on the ASCP result. He does security research.
In 1 year 9 months he has built a name off output, not job titles.
This is what Gabriel Odusanya wants the world to know and see. A 21-year-old from this side of the map who did not wait for a senior role before teaching, testing, and shipping. Someone who puts beginners into AppSec with their hands on real applications.
Someone who can sit in a room as an appsec engineer or CTO and secure what is already live. Someone collecting API security credentials because that is the work he does CASA done, ACP done, ASCP next. Someone whose YouTube, classroom, and research are the same person: break the app, explain the break, train the next person to find it.
Not a generic cybersecurity profile. Application security. Offensive work. Training. Research. Proof in public. That is the picture.

week 2 of my cybersecurity internship with @offshield_ai is done ✅
last week was on cyber awareness training.
assignment: build a full awareness campaign for a fictional college with 3 deliverables
1. a security policy covering passwords, MFA, phishing, safe browsing, device security, social engineering, and incident reporting
2. a "think before you click" phishing poster with 5 warning signs
3. a phishing case study breaking down a fake vendor email scam, who was targeted, red flags missed, and how to prevent it
biggest takeaway: most breaches don't start with some crazy hack.
they start small. someone reuses one password across 5 accounts. someone's in a rush and clicks a link without checking. someone gets an "urgent" email and just reacts instead of pausing to verify.
none of that needs advanced skills to exploit. it just needs one person not paying attention for a second. that's actually the scary part, the human is usually the easiest way in, not the system.
so half the job in security isn't just firewalls and tools, it's building the habit of slowing down and questioning things before you act.

The 200 fully funded scholarship by @silverpenydr founder of @Techaccessfound as a result of @HenshawKate birthday has fully commenced. And this is Day 1 of the 8weeks training in cyber security.
The goal is to help them employable to intern level and cyber security associates with companies and organisations.
This is going to be a very strict 8weeks program as attendance and review of assessment given is highly prioritized to grade the students for their respective certificates.
