he was a guy who wanted into the elite club much like how Peter wants in on the avengers even though they're both 'normal' or whatever. he didn't earn his way to it though, much like how Peter hasn't earned his costume or whatever yet I don't think it's really meant to be deeper
The whole point is the Vulture's a hypocrite He WAS a "working class guy" but once he got rich he abandoned everyone else who was suffering. He's an arms dealer still pretending to be poor for sympathy, using it as an excuse to justify his crimes so to maintain his ivory tower

like he's supposed to feed and reflect Peters fears that he's not deserving of his spot in the world of the avengers

Her character is boring and uninteresting, I'm not complaining. I don't think she's lying either, nothing about Karen Paige warrants this level of secrecy
"There is no plans for me so far on either side (MCU or DC) of the comic book universe.” Deborah Ann Woll indicates she won’t be returning as Karen Page in ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN’.

On break? retweeted
Adrian Toomes is the type of white, blue collar guy who would say “I hate the rich!” and then vote for Donald Trump 3 times.
Thinking that The Vulture in HOMECOMING was a good guy is peak media illiteracy

Amy Pascal says she and Kevin Feige cheered after watching the Director's Cut of 'SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY': "Actually, it was the first time that Kevin and I stood up after a director's cut and cheered. That's how good it was. That's how good Destin [Daniel Cretton] is."

I blame the MCU for this attitude
Name 1 good movie with a sex scene that isn't pointless and has narrative significance

I’m gonna guess that Clayface is gonna spend the whole movie trying to keep his normal form until he just stops gaf and goes full monster… I can’t wait

the fact that the richest man of all time is also the biggest loser who's ever lived makes for an incredibly efficient argument against capitalism IMO
Elon Musk‘s campaign against Christopher Nolan epic 'The Odyssey' just deepened. The tech mogul wrote on his social media service X that his AI tool Grok Imagine would create a “full-length” feature version of Homer’s Greek myth deadline.com/2026/07/elon-mu…

how do they simplify this new universe if it's not a reboot
Kevin Feige teases the future of the #MCU: “Secret Wars will represent a beginning. It will establish a streamlined, simplified, single universe that’s easier for audiences to follow. Some aspects will feel familiar. But many, many things will be entirely new. Earlier we talked about attracting younger audiences and connecting with a new generation. That’s exactly what this next universe is intended to do. And at its core…will be the X-Men.” (via m.weibo.cn/status/R9RVkvn5n?…)

wow I can't believe Nolan tied the monsters into the theme of his movie
even the sirens scene is desexualized. odysseus rages against his restraints but then reveals that the song they sang wasn't tantalizing hyperpleasure but instead a psychological breakthrough about his guilt and self-sabotage. the movie is so neurotically boomer that the ultimate fantasy it can imagine is a good therapy session.

this is why I really dislike nwh, they were just skipping the origin until nwh now retroactively it's all his origin but badly done just cus they didn't know what they were doing in that movie
Kevin Feige explains that the Homecoming trilogy was essentially the first act of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 1 stretched out into an entire trilogy The mother of all Surf Draculas

does it tho? this movie needs a lot of empty space
it bugs me that I havent seen anyone mention that you can watch the Backrooms movie in 4:3 and it actually works nothing ever gets put out of frame accidentally, the movie was intentionally shot to work in this aspect ratio and thats really fucking cool
